Swiss approve pioneering legal heroin program

BERN, Switzerland – A pioneering Swiss program to give addicts government-authorized heroin was overwhelmingly approved Sunday by voters who simultaneously rejected the decriminalization of marijuana.

Sixty-eight percent of voters approved making the heroin program permanent. It has been credited with reducing crime and improving the health and daily lives of addicts since it began 14 years ago.

Only 36.8 percent of voters favored the marijuana intitiative.

Olivier Borer, 35, a musician from the northern town of Solothurn, said he welcomed the outcome in part because state action was required to help heroin addicts but legalizing marijuana was a bad idea.

“I think it’s very important to help these people, but not to facilitate the using of drugs. You can just see in the Netherlands how it’s going. People just go there to smoke,” Borer said.

Parliament approved the heroin measure in a revision of Switzerland’s narcotics law this past March, but conservatives challenged the decision and forced a national referendum under Switzerland’s system of direct democracy.

The heroin program has helped eliminate scenes of large groups of drug users shooting up openly in parks that marred Swiss cities in the 1980s and 1990s, supporters say.

The United States and the U.N. narcotics board have criticized the program as potentially fueling drug abuse, but other governments have started or are considering their own programs modeled on the system.

The marijuana issue was based on a separate citizens’ initiative to decriminalize the consumption of marijuana and growing the plant for personal use.

Jo Lang, a Green Party member of parliament from the central city of Zug, said he was disappointed in the failure of the marijuana measure because it means 600,000 people in Switzerland will be treated as criminals because they use cannabis.

“People have died from alcohol and heroin, but not from cannabis,” Lang said.

The government, which opposes the marijuana proposal, said it feared that liberalizing marijuana could cause problems with neighboring countries.

“This could lead to a situation where you have some sort of cannabis tourism in Switzerland because something that is illegal in the EU would be legal in Switzerland,” government spokesman Oswald Sigg told The Associated Press.

The heroin program is offered in 23 discreet centers across Switzerland, which offer a range of support to nearly 1,300 addicts who haven’t been helped by other therapies. Under careful supervision, they inject doses carefully measured to satisfy their cravings but not enough to cause a big high.

The aim is to help the addicts learn how to function in society, with counseling from psychiatrists and social workers.

Sabina Geissbuehler-Strupler of the right-wing Swiss People’s Party, which led the campaign against the heroin program, said she was disappointed in the vote.

“That is only damage limitation,” she said. “Ninety-five percent of the addicts are not healed from the addiction.”

Health insurance pays for the bulk of the program, which costs 26 million Swiss francs ($22 million) a year. All residents in Switzerland are required to have health insurance, with the government paying insurance premiums for those who cannot afford it.

Three violent deaths in two stores marred the opening of the Christmas shopping season Friday.

In the first, a temporary Wal-Mart employee was trampled to death in a rush of thousands of early-morning shoppers as he and other employees attempted to unlock the doors of a Long Island, New York, store at 5 a.m., police said.

In the second violent incident on what is historically one of the year’s busiest shopping days, two men were shot dead in a Toys R Us in Palm Desert, California, after they argued in the store, police said.

The Wal-Mart worker, whom authorities did not identify, was 34 and lived in Queens, said Nassau County police Detective Lt. Michael Fleming.

“This was utter chaos as these men tried to open the door this morning,” Fleming said.

Another White man gets life for repeated incest with daughters

This seems to have become an epidemic. White fathers should be kept an eye on.

A British man was sentenced to life in prison for repeatedly raping his two daughters over a 25-year period, fathering seven children by them during years of violence and abuse.

A court in Sheffield, northern England, heard that the 56-year-old took pleasure in the harm he did to his daughters, whom he began abusing at the age of eight, threatening them with violence if they refused to have sex with him, Britain’s Press Association reported.

The violence, abuse and incest – the man made his daughters pregnant a total of 19 times – recall the case of Josef Fritzl, the Austrian rapist who kept his daughter locked in a dungeon for 24 years, fathering seven children by her.

“When either one of his victims tried to end the sexual abuse, he threatened to kill them and their children, and when they threatened to tell police, he said they would not be believed,” lawyer Nicholas Campbell told the court.

The man, whose son described him as having a ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ personality that could turn to anger in a split second, made his elder daughter pregnant seven times. She bore four children but two of them died after birth.

He made his younger daughter pregnant 12 times. She has five surviving children, the court heard.

The father and daughters can not be named for legal reasons.

The court heard that the father would hold his younger daughter’s face close to a fire, singeing her eyes if she refused to do what he told her to, and at other times he held a knife to her throat, threatening to kill her.

A doctor once asked one of the daughters if her father was also the father of her child, but she lied, the court heard.

“The victims were too frightened to tell anyone, even their mother,” Mr Campbell said.

“The defendant played Russian roulette as to whether there would be complications in the pregnancies and with the health of his daughters.”

The judge sentenced the man to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 19 and a half years.

OTTAWA (Reuters) – Obese people have the right to two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled on Thursday.

The high court declined to hear an appeal by Canadian airlines of a decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency that people who are “functionally disabled by obesity” deserve to have two seats for one fare.

The airlines had lost an appeal at the Federal Court of Appeal in May and had sought to launch a fresh appeal at the Supreme Court. The court’s decision not to hear a new appeal means the one-person-one-fare policy stands.

The appeal had been launched by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and WestJet.

In the killing of a child, it is the details that haunt us, boring into us like slivers deep in the skin. The more we strive to make sense of what cannot be explained rationally, the more our wound festers. No iodine works for this grief.

Here is what we know — just the facts, ma’am — about the death of Donna May Busch. She was killed about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in her playpen in her rural home north of Hollister. She was shot twice, once in the chest and once in the head, with a Smith & Wesson .357 magnum with a six-inch stainless steel barrel.

Her mother, Cheryl Lean Busch, a 39-year-old dog groomer, has been booked on suspicion of murder and is being held in a padded cell at the San Benito County Jail. Her father, John Dean Busch, 52, was taken in for questioning and released with thanks for his cooperation.

Donna May Busch was one day short of 19 months old.

It is the last detail that wounds most deeply, that leaves us most bewildered. In our silent abacus of judgment, it takes the tragedy across the line that divides rationality from mental illness.

If Cheryl Busch had shot her husband, we might understand. If she had tried to strangle a teenager, we might nod grimly. But our first instinct is to say that no mother in her right mind executes her baby in a playpen. For our own sanity, we search for a way to comprehend that booking charge of 187 of the penal code.

In a news conference Thursday, San Benito County Sheriff Curtis Hill, a tall man who has a careful way with words, said his deputies had placed Cheryl Busch under a 24-hour watch because they were worried about the potential for suicide.

If you look carefully at her booking photo, you can see a woman who has been damaged. One eye looks at the camera while the other looks down. Her mouth and nose are red. She looks both infinitely sad and infinitely sullen.

Was it the aftermath of postpartum depression? If so, it came very late. Were there drugs involved? The sheriff says there were no immediate signs but that tests are pending. Where was the gun stored? That much hasn’t been released.

What we do know is that John and Cheryl Busch haven’t always had a happy marriage. A year ago, Cheryl was arrested on a charge of domestic violence against her husband. “She battered him,” the sheriff said, and that was saying something: John has a background as a body builder. The case was whittled down to a misdemeanor.

Did father and mother have an argument that morning in the yellow house with the hulking barn in back? “There had been some angst and disagreement in the relationship between the parents,” Hill said, tiptoeing through the minefields of truth. “That plays to motive and details”

And so we’re back to the slivers, some of which mean something, others of which don’t: We know John Busch made the call to the sheriff’s department on a regular business line, not 911. We’re told he was in the yard when the shooting took place and came in to take the gun away to an outbuilding. We know both parents were distraught when deputies showed up. And Donna May was dead by the time rescuers arrived.

What we don’t know is what happened early in Cheryl Busch’s life that took her to this point. We don’t know how her parents treated her. We can’t fathom what loss of love led her to be arrested for breaking such a basic taboo. We can’t comprehend how someone who is praised online for her cat counseling skills could be so brutal to her own child.

In the online version of the Hollister Freelance (www.freelancenews.com), a lively debate broke out Thursday about whether the newspaper should have shown the picture of authorities rolling the baby’s body from the home. It really wasn’t a question of offensiveness; the corpse was well covered.

The photo stung because it reminded us of what we cannot explain: that a 19-month girl was executed Mafia style — one to the chest, one to the head — and that her mother stands accused of murdering her. I can type those words. I can supply the facts. I cannot understand them.

Atlanta – In rural Georgia, a group of high-schoolers gets a visit from the Secret Service after posting “inappropriate” comments about President-elect Barack Obama on the Web. In Raleigh, N.C., four college students admit to spraying race-tinged graffiti in a pedestrian tunnel after the election. On Nov. 6, a cross burns on the lawn of a biracial couple in Apolacon Township, Pa.

The election of America’s first black president has triggered more than 200 hate-related incidents, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center – a record in modern presidential elections. Moreover, the white nationalist movement, bemoaning an election that confirmed voters’ comfort with a multiracial demography, expects Mr. Obama’s election to be a potent recruiting tool – one that watchdog groups warn could give new impetus to a mostly defanged fringe element.

Most election-related threats have so far been little more than juvenile pranks. But the political marginalization of certain Southern whites, economic distress in rural areas, and a White House occupant who symbolizes a multiethnic United States could combine to produce a backlash against what some have heralded as the dawn of a postracial America. In some parts of the South, there’s even talk of secession.

“Most of this movement is not violent, but there is a substantive underbelly that is violent and does try to make a bridge to people who feel disenfranchised,” says Brian Levin of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino. “The question is: Will this swirl become a tornado or just an ill wind? We’re not there yet, but there’s dust on the horizon, a swirling of wind, and the atmospherics are getting put together for [conflict].”

Though postelection racist incidents haven’t posed any real danger to society or the president-elect, law enforcement is taking note.

“We’re trying to be out there at the cutting edge of this and trying to stay ahead of groups that are emerging,” says Special Agent Darrin Blackford, a spokesman for the Secret Service, which guards the US president.

“Anytime you start seeing [extremist propaganda] floating around, you have to be concerned,” adds Lt. Gary Thornberry of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a member of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. “As far as it being an alarmist situation, I don’t see that yet. From a law enforcement point of view, you have to be careful, because it’s not illegal to have an ideology.”

After sparking conflict and showdowns in the 1990s – think Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing – white supremacist and nationalist groups began this century largely splintered and powerless. Though high immigration levels helped boost the number of hate groups from 602 in 2000 to 888 in 2007, key leaders of such groups had died, been imprisoned, or were otherwise marginalized.

But postelection, at least two white nationalist websites – Stormfront and the Council of Conservative Citizens – report their servers have crashed because of heavy traffic. The League of the South, a secessionist group, says Web hits jumped from 50,000 a month to 300,000 since Nov. 4, and its phones are ringing off the hook.

“The vitriol is flailing out shotgun-style,” says Mr. Levin. “They recognize Obama as a tipping point, the perfect storm in the narrative of the hate world – the apocalypse that they’ve been moaning about has come true.”

Supremacist propaganda is already on the upswing. In Oklahoma, fringe groups have distributed anti-Obama propaganda through newspapers and taped it to home mail boxes. Ugly incidents such as cross-burnings, assassination betting pools, and Obama effigies are also being reported from Maine to Alabama.

The Ku Klux Klan has been tied to recent news events, as well. Two Tennessee men implicated for plotting to kill 88 black men, including Obama, were tied to the KKK chapter whose leader was convicted in a civil trial in Brandenburg, Ky., last week, for inciting violence. The murder last week in Louisiana of a KKK initiate, allegedly killed after trying to back out of joining, came at the hands of a new group called Sons of Dixie, authorities say.

“We’re not looking at a race war or anything close to it, but … what we are seeing now is undeniably a fairly major backlash by some subset of the white population,” says Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Report in Montomgery, Ala. “Many whites feel that the country their forefathers built has been … stolen from them, so there’s in some places a real boiling rage, and that can only become worse as more people lose jobs.”

In an election in which barely 20 percent of native Southern whites in Deep South states voted for Obama, the newly apparent political clout of “outsiders” and people of color has been unnerving to some.

“In states like Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama, there was extraordinary racial polarization in the vote,” says Merle Black, a political scientist at Emory University in Atlanta. “Black Americans really do believe that Obama is going to represent their interests and views in ways that they haven’t been before, and, in the Deep South, whites feel exactly the opposite.”

But for nonviolent secessionist groups like the League of the South, the hope is for a more vigorous debate about the direction of the US and the South’s role in it, says Michael Tuggle, a League blogger in North Carolina.

Mr. Tuggle says his group isn’t looking for an 1860-style secession but, rather, a model that Spain, for one, is moving toward, in which “there’s a great deal of autonomy for constituent regions” – a foil to what is seen as unchecked, dangerous federal power in Washington.

“To a lot of people, the idea of secession doesn’t seem so crazy anymore,” says Tuggle. “People are talking about how left out they feel, … and they feel that something strange and radical has taken over our country.”

White father says he was ‘born to rape’

I’m sure there are plenty of people who would insist that they “were born” to put this monster out of his misery.

The Austrian father who allegedly imprisoned and abused his daughter for 24 years has said he was “born to rape”, according to a leaked report.

The report by psychiatrist Adelheid Kastner says Joseph Fritzl’s mother humiliated him in childhood, creating his need to “possess a human being”.

Mr Fritzl said he had an “evil streak” and that he “could have behaved a lot worse than locking up my daughter”.

Mr Fritzl fathered seven children with his daughter in a cellar he built.

Dr Kastner says in her 130-page report that Mr Fritzl is fit for trial and would be “highly” likely to reoffend if he had the opportunity. A trial could begin in the next few months.

Mr Fritzl has been in custody since the case came to light in April.

‘Volcano’

Dr Kastner’s report has been submitted to the prosecutor’s office but was leaked to the Austrian media.

In the report, Mr Fritzl, 73, tells the psychiatrist: “I was born to rape and I held myself back for a relatively long time.”

Dr Kastner says Mr Fritzl spoke of humiliating and unprovoked attacks by his mother in childhood.

“His childhood made him susceptible to an emotional handicap,” she writes, creating the need for him “to possess an entire human being”.

The report says Mr Fritzl believed incarcerating his daughter, Elisabeth, meant he would have someone “just for me”.

He believed having children with her would mean she would have to stay with him as she would “no longer hold any attraction for other men”.

Mr Fritzl speaks of himself as a “volcano” who has a “flood of destructive lava that was barely controllable”.

Prosecutors say Mr Fritzl has confessed to keeping Elisabeth captive in a cell at his home in Amstetten, west of Vienna.

DNA tests have shown he is the father of six of Elisabeth’s children – a seventh child is believed to have died shortly after birth.

Elisabeth, 42, her six children and her mother Rosemarie have been undergoing psychiatric treatment and are thought to be at a secret location learning to resume a normal existence.

The case first came to light in April after 19-year-old Kerstin, one of the children fathered by Mr Fritzl, became seriously ill and was taken to hospital.

Ryan Bailey Was Looking For An Amish Girl to Rape….

I thought I had seen and heard it all.

According to cops in LaGrange, Indiana, Ryan Bailey was looking for a female victim that April night. When Bailey couldn’t find a female, he settled for a man.

Bailey, a 29-year-old whose criminal past includes DUI, meth-related charges and domestic violence raps, allegedly told the man he attacked that he’d been seeking an Amish girl. He couldn’t find one, so he settled on the victim — an Amish man whom Bailey saw riding a bicycle beside the road.

IndyChannel.com reports what allegedly happened after Bailey found his mark: “Bailey tackled the victim, forced him at knifepoint into Bailey’s car, drove to a secluded area and sexually assaulted him…”

To be clear — Ryan Bailey allegedly wanted to rape an Amish person. When all was said and done, he didn’t care what sex. His alleged act was born out of a need to humiliate and dominate another. If Bailey did as alleged, he was acting out like a psychopath.

Bailey’s DNA did him in. He was arrested November 5 in South Bend, IN.

Bailey’s alleged victim was perceptive. He told police that his attacker had “angry eyes.”

That’s Bailey in the photo above. His eyes do look angry, Angry, and probably, if the photo were clearer, empty. Is there another way to explain his alleged assault on one of society’s more innocent adults?

White man kills white woman after she tries to flee KKK ritual

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Authorities have identified an Oklahoma woman fatally shot in Louisiana after a Ku Klux Klan initiation. The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s office said Wednesday that the woman was 43-year-old Cynthia C. Lynch of Tulsa.

Sheriff Jack Strain says Lynch had been recruited over the Internet to come to Louisiana, join a Klan faction, then return to Oklahoma to sign up more members.

But authorities say she asked to be taken back to town from the ritual site in a rural area.

Strain says a fight followed and Lynch was shot Sunday.

One person has been booked on a second-degree murder charge. Seven others face charges related to covering up the shooting.

Iraqi soldier kills 4 white terrorists

Why should the Iraqis tolerate armed illegal immigrants and terrorists?

An Iraqi soldier has shot dead at least 4 US soldiers and wounded six others in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

The incident happened at an Iraqi military base in the Zanjili district of the city, the US military said, not on a joint patrol as earlier reported.

The Iraqi trooper turned his gun on patrol members, the US military said, before being shot dead himself.

Reports suggested the man had been involved in an altercation with a US soldier before opening fire.

The US military said it was still investigating the incident.

There have been other incidents of Iraqi troopers attacking the Americans they are working with but this, reports the BBC’s Andrew North in Baghdad, would be one of the most serious.

Thousands of US and Iraqi troops usually work together across the country every day without serious problems, our correspondent adds, although cultural and language barriers can be a source of misunderstanding.

In Baghdad, meanwhile, at least 21 people were killed and more than 85 injured in a series of bombings – the third day in a row such attacks have taken place.

Overall security in Iraq has improved significantly in the past year but recent weeks have seen a rash of incidents that have undermined public confidence

White terrorists murder dozens of Afghan civilian deaths in the past week

Nothing like bombing a wedding party. These children sure look like militants don’t they?

Reporting from Kabul, Afghanistan, and Istanbul, Turkey — The U.S. military acknowledged today that 37 civilians were killed and 35 injured during fighting this week in Kandahar province between insurgents and coalition forces.

Although the American statement stopped short of taking direct blame for civilian casualties in a southern province that is one of the country’s most active battlefields, it represented an unusually swift public response to claims of mass casualties made by Afghan officials.

The finding came just three days after provincial officials and the Afghan president’s office asserted that three dozen people had died in an errant U.S. airstrike on a wedding party in a village outside the city of Kandahar.

The city, the main population center in Afghanistan’s south, was the onetime stronghold of the Taliban. Militants and coalition forces clash almost daily in the province, also known as Kandahar, which is a center of Afghanistan’s drug trade.

The new commander of the U.S. Central Command, Gen. David H. Petraeus, was in Afghanistan this week to look at ways to revamp the Western military strategy in the wake of a dramatic resurgence by Taliban-led militants over the past two years. During his visit, Afghan defense officials told him that civilian casualties were sharply eroding public support for the presence of foreign forces.

The deaths and injuries of noncombatants also have become an extremely sensitive issue between the American-backed government of President Hamid Karzai and Western forces in Afghanistan. On Wednesday, hours after Barack Obama won the U.S. presidential election, Karzai used what was to have been a congratulatory news conference to plead with the president-elect for an end to civilian fatalities.

The investigation into the deaths in Wach Baghtu village in Kandahar province was carried out jointly by Afghan government officials, the Afghan army and the U.S.-coalition, the American military said in a statement. That represents a departure from practice in past years, when American officials were sometimes reluctant to involve Afghan authorities in such probes, though such cooperation has become more common of late.

In releasing the findings, the U.S. military stressed that villagers’ homes were used for cover during a firefight between militants and coalition forces on Monday.

“Village elders told the joint investigation team that insurgentswho were not from their village . . . fired at [Afghan] and coalition forces,” the statement said. Local residents were prevented from leaving the area during the battle, it said.

The military did not directly acknowledge having inadvertently bombed the wedding party in question, but said coalition forces used “close air support to suppress enemy fire.” Compensation was paid to the families of the dead and injured, the military said without providing details.

The prompt investigation and findings stood in sharp contrast to some recent high-profile cases involving civilian casualties. Afghans were infuriated when it took weeks for the Americans to investigate claims by the Afghan government and the United Nations that 90 people, most of them women and children, were killed in an Aug. 22 airstrike in Herat province, in the west of Afghanistan.

After initially saying that five civilians were killed, a U.S. investigation ultimately concluded that 33 civilians had died. But that finding took six weeks, and the high-level investigation was launched only after videos surfaced that appeared to show large numbers of civilian dead.

“Civilians getting caught in the crossfire is the worst possible thing that could happen,” U.S. Army Col. Greg Julian said of last week’s deaths in Kandahar. “We regret this tragic loss of innocent lives.”

Afghan weddings are traditionally large, drawn-out affairs, and wedding parties several times have been the target of errant airstrikes, in part because from the air the gatherings can appear similar to concentrations of Taliban fighters.

But in Afghanistan’s clan-based tribal society, civilian deaths can cause otherwise peaceable villages to declare a vendetta against those they consider responsible for killing and injuring their kin — in many cases, Western forces.

More than 1,200 Afghan civilians have been killed violently so far this year. A majority of these deaths are caused by insurgent attacks such as suicide bombings, but human rights groups and Afghan officials say hundreds have died at the hands of foreign forces during fighting with the Taliban and other militant groups.

White Electrician Hid Peep Cams in Woman’s Bathrooms

Why do white men derive pleasure from watching others defecate?

RANCHO CUCAMONGA — An electrician is under arrest, accused of installing high-tech video cameras in some of his customers’ bathrooms.

34-year-old David Mitchell Clark faces two felony counts of first-degree residential burglary and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, according to a criminal complaint filed in San Bernardino County Superior Court.

Clark pleaded not guilty to the charges in West Valley Superior Court last week and remains in custody at West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $285,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

Police said Clark installed wireless hidden cameras in the bathrooms of some of his clients while he was working in the homes.

He would later download the video he received from those cameras, according to police.

So far, six victims have been identified in evidence collected by police at Clark’s home.

Authorities believe there are as many as 20 more victims captured on the video files.

Police urge anyone who had work done by Clark (The owner of DMC Electrical Services) to inspect the bathrooms electrical outlets.

Investigators say Clark has taken commercial and residential jobs in Anaheim, Corona, Fontana and the San Bernardino Mountains consistently for the past three years.

Obama wins, but….

Morganton, NC – Investigators have charged a man involved in “numerous youth organizations” throughout Burke County with sexual offenses against a minor. Gary Adam Molesa, 64, is an upstanding citizen of Burke County, North Carolina.  He has been involved in numerous youth organizations.  His TV repair shop sits right behind his daughter Jaimie Pope’s dance and gymnastics studio.  He’s an all around great guy, even loaning out his camera for Halloween photos at Pope’s business.   Anyone wanna guess where this one’s going?

Some people, when faced with the pictures Jaimie Pope saw, would erase them.  Oh, they might confront dear ol’ dad, but the shame and embarrassment – not to mention the very thought of the publicity – might be enough to sway even people who believe themselves to be advocates for children.

Not Jaimie Pope.  She called police and turned in her father, showing officers the photos she found on his camera.  Then she contacted the parents at her dance studio and gym and asked them to talk to their own children, to make sure they’re all right. Pope described her reaction to finding the pictures as “shock”.  “I was shocked, just shocked, overwhelmed, disgusted, mad, sad, angry,” she said.

Jaimie Pope and a friend were just getting ready to shoot some pictures of kids in Halloween costumes at her studio when they turned on the camera and found the photographs under Molesa’s “favorites,” said court documents.

Molesa took the fifteen year old boy to his (Molesa’s) house, where he then molested the boy and forced him to engage in sexual activity while snapping away on the camera.  Molesa then uploaded the shots onto his computer, because he’s a nice guy like that.

When asked why he’d committed such acts against a minor, Molesa mumbled, “My wife is dying.  I was lonely.  It just happened.”

You know, like his car just happened to go to his house, where he just happened to force himself on a young boy, and the camera just happened to click itself, and he just happened to upload the pics to his hard drive so he could just happen to enjoy them later.  Yeah, that’s lonely, all right.  Oh, and while I’m at it, way to send your wife to her eternal reward with a little dignity intact, assclown.

Gary Molesa was arrested Wednesday and bonded out – but by Friday, he was back in jail again on new charges after investigators found evidence that Molesa may have more victims.

Jaimie Pope says that given what she saw, she believes there are more victims out there, and she hopes that law enforcement can find them.   Of turning in her own father, she said, “I found some incriminating evidence and I had the choice of either turning him in or not turning him in, and for the sake of my kids and the sake of here at the gym I decided to turn him in.  It’s really hard, but nothing justifies what he did.”

Jaimie Pope is my hero.

And Gary Molesa is sitting in the Burke County Jail in Morganton, charged with two counts of statutory rape and two counts of indecent liberties with a child while the State Bureau of Investigation processes evidence taken from his home.

White man rapes daughters and forces them to wear electric shock dog collar

Is it time for children to be taken away from their white parents given their tendency to sexually assault kids?

NOXVILLE, Tennessee - Wayne Burkhart has been charged with using electric shock dog collars to control his two teenage daughters and with raping both girls.

The man is being held on $1 million bond on charges of aggravated child abuse and two counts of rape. The man is a dog trainer and owns hunting dogs. The dog collars used are more powerful than your standard dog shock collar. He would place them on his two eldest daughters legs and activate them via remote control. A 15-year-old brother testified that his sisters would scream, lay on the floor and repeatedly plead with their father to stop activating the collars. The two girls — now ages 18 and 19 — are from their father’s previous marriage. The couple has three other children, a girl and two boys, but none of the abuse allegations relate to those children, prosecutors said.

Even worse, the 18-year-old wept during her testimony, explaining that her father had been raping her since was 12 or 13 years old and threatened her with death if she ever told anyone. The girl finally told a school official after her father used the collar on her neck for the first time, couple with the fact that she was in fear that her 11-year-old sister was about to go throught the same ordeal.

The mother, Rebecca Burkhart, who prosecutors say knew about the use of dog collars but not the alleged sexual assaults, is charged with aggravated child neglect failing to report child abuse. She is free on bond. The four youngest children, including the 18-year-old, are in foster care. Authorities don’t know the 19-year-old girl’s whereabouts. The family is not being identified because the charges involve allegations of rape.

Pub row erupts after feces found in ice cream

SYDNEY (Reuters) – A bitter row has broken out between one of Sydney’s largest tourist pubs and a family of five who accused chefs of serving human excrement in their gelato after they complained about noise during a football match.

State government food minister Ian Macdonald confirmed on Wednesday that frozen fecal matter had been found in a serving of chocolate gelato offered to placate pub patron Steve Whyte and his wife Jessica, who became “violently ill” after eating it.

“The stench went through my nostrils, I retched and spat it into the napkin,” Jessica Whyte told the Daily Telegraph newspaper, recounting what local media are calling “gelati-gate.”

The tainted sweet was allegedly served up at the Coogee Bay Hotel, one of Sydney’s largest and most popular beachfront hotels, located just a few minutes south of Bondi Beach.

The pub has denied serving excrement to the Whyte’s after they complained they were unable to hear a televised football game due to loud music, with both the chef and restaurant manager volunteering for DNA tests to prove their innocence.

Both sides have accused the other of money seeking, with the Whyte’s claiming they were offered A$5,000 ($3,240) in hush money by pub General Manager Tony Williams, while they in turn were accused of trying to negotiate up to A$1 million in damages.

The argument over accusations of “kitchen revenge” has shocked Australians, leading into an expected searing, gelato-friendly summer, capturing national headlines for days.

Macdonald said DNA analysis would now be done to determine if the sample was of human or animal origin as police and food authorities investigate the case.

“Obviously, we are keeping an open mind and do not want to pre-empt this investigation in any manner,” he said.

The eastern Sydney hotel is standing by staff and on Tuesday said its own lab tests on the chocolate gelato tub had found no evidence of contamination.
