THOUSAND OAKS — A 39-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly paying teenagers to spit on him, among other things, sheriff’s officials said.

Charles Hersel was arrested Wednesday evening after he paid a teenager $31 in cash to spit in his face, Ventura County sheriff’s detectives said.

The arrest was part of an undercover sting.

Investigators say Hersel paid male Westlake High School students to yell profanities at him, spit in his face and slap him.

Several teens also told investigators that Hersel offered to pay them to urinate and defecate on him, according to detectives.

Hersel was booked into county jail on a child annoyance charge. He was later released on a promise to appear in court.

Investigators searched Hersel’s apartment and computer and say he contacted his first victims on the social networking website MySpace.

They say it didn’t take long for word to spread that the teens could get paid to spit in a man’s face.

Sarah Palin cries foul over Newsweek “sexist” cover

If Palin wants to be taken seriously why pose for the cover in shorts?

Maybe Sarah Palin should be pleased with Newsweek’s cover shot. After all, it could give her ammo for a sequel, perhaps entitled “Going Rogue II: Sarah Palin Unloaded.”

The former Alaska governor isn’t happy with Newsweek for featuring her on the cover of its magazine. Whether she’s upset with the article or not isn’t known. But the photo they chose? That’s another story.

Run to the hills

Newsweek decided to use a photograph originally used for a Runners World article published last August. No, it’s not like she’s all sweaty, haggard, and ready to collapse at the end of a marathon or anything — in fact, it’s just the opposite.

It’s more like a glamour shot. Sure, she’s in running gear but it’s apparent that she hasn’t begun the workout yet. She’s posing in her old office clutching two Blackberries and leaning on an American flag. This was an OK photo for Runners World, she says, but not for a serious news story. It’s sexist and out of context.

“The choice of photo for the cover of this week’s Newsweek is unfortunate,” Palin wrote on her Facebook page. “When it comes to Sarah Palin, this ‘news’ magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner’s World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness — a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation.”

“The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention – even if out of context,” she adds.

Newsweek bad

She actually took it easy on Newsweek. She could have wondered aloud about their financial situation. According to the Washington Post third quarter’s earning report, the news magazine is losing money and its subscriber base is expected to drop to 1.5 million in January 2010 from 3.1 million earlier this year.

Not to mention that it appears that the news magazine ran the photo without permission from Runner’s World.

Reads an Editors Note at Runner’sWorld.com: “On the cover of this week’s issue of Newsweek is a photo that was shot for the August 2009 issue of Runner’s World , in which Sarah Palin was featured on the monthly ‘I’m a Runner’ back page. Runner’s World did not provide Newsweek with the image. Instead, it was provided to Newsweek by the photographer’s agency, without Runner’s World’s knowledge or permission.”

Perhaps this is something that Runner’s World isn’t that upset about after all. It’s interesting to observe that right after the “Editor’s Note” is a promo to see their original photo slideshow of Palin.

Too sexy!

Some people have rushed to Palin’s defense, however. Like the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody.

“You’ve got to hand it to the folks at Newsweek,” Brody writes. “They have accomplished being biased and sexist at the same time. Quite a feat. This cover has got to be a new low right? They don’t use a photo of Palin on the campaign trail. No instead they take the sexy Runners World photo.”

Didn’t she pose for it though?

“Yes she posed for it but don’t tell me they didn’t purposely use that photo to make a point?” Brody said before asking the whereabouts of “sexy photos of Tim Pawlenty with an unbuttoned shirt relaxing on a couch in the Twin Cities.”

Yeah, where are those, anyway?

Newsweek’s Eleanor Clift says reactions like Brody’s aren’t surprising. It’s something that conservatives will jump on.

“Why do right-wing men rush to Sarah’s side to defend her?” Clift asks. “My theory is that this is payback time. They’ve been called sexist and racist, and subjected to media ridicule of their allegedly retro views. Palin is their way to push back against the elites that have marginalized them.”

What about that photo?

As for the use of the photo, Newsweek Editor Jon Meacham defended the decision saying it was “the most interesting image available.”

“We apply the same test to photographs of any public figure, male or female: does the image convey what we are saying? That is a gender-neutral standard,” he said.

The only soldier convicted in connection with the death of Iraqi prisoner Baha Mousa claimed yesterday he saw officers abusing detainees.

Disgraced former corporal Donald Payne said he saw Lieutenant Craig Rodgers punching or kicking a group of detainees and even threatening to set one on fire.

He said the group included Mr Mousa, 26, a father of two who suffered 93 separate injuries while in custody at a British base.

Payne also accused his commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Mendonca, of being ‘gung-ho’ and ‘trigger-happy’.

He said the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment CO once held his pistol above a suspected insurgent’s mouth and threatened to ‘blow his face off’.

Payne, who was giving evidence to the public inquiry into the death of Mr Mousa in Basra in 2003, became the first member of the UK armed forces to be convicted of a war crime when he pleaded guilty to inhumanely treating civilians at a 2006 court martial.

He was jailed for a year. Six soldiers accused with him were cleared through lack of evidence.

Payne said he had covered up the extent of the abuse of Iraqis out of ‘misguided loyalty’ and ’self-preservation’.

Watched by Mr Mousa’s father Dawood, who at one point left the inquiry in tears, he admitted for the first time that he used ‘gratuitous violence’ against detainees and saw other soldiers do the same.

The allegations come at a hugely sensitive time for the Ministry of Defence, following fresh claims from Iraq that prisoners suffered abuse including rape and torture.

Payne said that in September 2003 he was part of a group of soldiers headed by Lieutenant Rodgers. Everyone in the group was involved in abuse of the prisoners.

He said in a statement: ‘I have seen each one, including Lieutenant Rodgers, forcefully kick and/or punch the detainees.’

Payne said Lieutenant Rodgers once put a can of petrol in front of a young boy and tried to trick him into thinking he was being set on fire.

He said: ‘He poured water over him and then lit a match’.

Mr Rodgers, who left the Army in 2007 as a captain, strongly denied allegations of prisoner abuse when he gave evidence last week.

Last night he repeated the denial and branded Payne’s allegations ‘utterly outrageous’.

Payne did not accuse Colonel Mendonca of involvement in the abuse but said: ‘It was my impression the CO was somewhat trigger-happy. He would pull his pistol out at any opportunity.

‘He would behave as if he were a member of the SAS. Everyone knew and commented about his behaviour.’ Payne said that on one patrol with Colonel

Mendonca they picked up an Iraqi who had fired a flare near Basra market.

He said: ‘Towards the end of the patrol we stopped and the CO got the prisoner out of the Land Rover and started interrogating him.

‘He asked how he got his weapons in. The prisoner did not reply and the CO cocked his pistol and said he was going to blow his face off.

‘He was holding the pistol above the man’s mouth. The prisoner said he was getting his weapons in through a taxi and we left him and drove off.’

Col Mendonca, who was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for his leadership in Iraq, was cleared at court martial of any blame in the death of Mr Mousa. His counsel, Tim Langdale QC, accused Payne of lying about his client.

Witnesses have told the inquiry they lied to protect Payne by saying Mr Mousa accidentally banged his head during a scuffle.

Former private Aaron Cooper said last week that Payne violently assaulted the prisoner just before he died, claiming: ‘He seemed to completely lose his self-control. He started to lash out wildly, punching and kicking Baha Mousa’s ribs.

‘Corporal Payne certainly kicked Baha Mousa’s head, which rebounded off the wall.

‘He also grabbed Baha Mousa’s head and banged it against the wall.’

Yesterday Payne admitted putting his knee in the Iraqi’s back in an attempt to restrain him but denied banging his head against a wall.

He told the inquiry Mr Mousa had been thrashing about and added: ‘I heard his head, but I don’t know whether it was the floor or the wall… I heard it whack.’

No one has ever been convicted of causing the death of Mr Mousa and the claims at the London inquiry could lead to new criminal charges.

Payne, who was cleared of manslaughter and perverting the course of justice at his court martial, admitted yesterday that he lied in interviews, to the court martial and in his first statement to the inquiry.

The Ministry of Defence agreed last year to pay £2.83million compensation to the families of Mr Mousa and nine other Iraqi men mistreated by British troops.

 

White man charged with rape of 7-year-old girl

SOUTH DAYTONA — A 56-year-old man is in jail on a charge of raping a 7-year-old girl at his son’s home, police said this morning. Ronald Clark Thornton of Port Orange was charged with sexual battery of a child under 12, said South Daytona Lt. Ron Wright.

The attack took place Saturday inside a bathroom at the home of Thornton’s son, Jason Thornton, 31, on Lantern Drive in South Daytona, Wright said.

At some point during that evening, the girl — who was a visitor to the home and staying the night — entered a bathroom of the house and quickly shut the door, Wright said.

Jason Thornton followed her to the bathroom door and asked her if everything was all right, Wright said. But the child did not answer.

Instead, the elder Thornton’s voice came from the other side of the bathroom door and he said, “We’ll be out in a minute,” Wright said.

When Ronald Thornton and the child emerged from the bathroom a few minutes later, the suspect told his son he was going home. When Jason Thornton asked the little girl if she was OK, she said nothing.

A few minutes later however, the child asked Jason Thornton if he could keep a secret, Wright said.

“She told him that Thornton made her hold his private part and he penetrated her with his finger,” Wright said.

At that point, the son called the girl’s mother and then police, Wright said.

A judge this morning ordered Ronald Thornton to be held at the Volusia County Branch Jail with no bail.

Thornton works for the state Department of Children & Families as a food-stamp processer. He does not work with children and local DCF administrator Reggie Williams said he will meet with the department’s legal counsel to decide what action might be taken in regard to Thorton’s job.

British terrorists sexually abused us, claim Iraqis

LONDON – Iraqi civilians who were detained by British troops during the U.S.-led war have leveled some 33 allegations of rape and abuse against male and female soldiers, Britain’s Ministry of Defense said Saturday.

The allegations come in the wake of the British withdrawal from Iraq this year.

One man says he was raped by two British soldiers while another claims he was sexually humiliated by both male and female personnel. Others allege they were stripped naked and photographed in the same style as the notorious pictures at Abu Ghraib, where abuses of prisoners by U.S. troops helped fuel anti-American sentiment.

British soldiers have faced a series of claims that they mistreated Iraqi civilians in southern Iraq during six years of combat operations. Last year, Britain settled a legal case involving the death of one Iraqi civilian, and the abuse of nine others, paying out nearly 3 million pounds in compensation.

A public inquiry is still under way into the death of hotel worker Baha Mousa. He died in the custody of British troops following a raid on his hotel in the southern Iraq city of Basra in 2003 and suffered 93 separate injuries. British Cpl. Donald Payne pleaded guilty to inhumanely treating Iraqi civilians in Britain’s first war crimes conviction.

“Given the history of the U.K.’s involvement in the development of these techniques alongside the US, it is deeply concerning that there appears to be strong similarities between instances of the use of sexual humiliation,” Phil Shiner, the lawyer representing the Iraqis who made the claims, said in a letter to the Ministry of Defense. He said some Iraqis are coming forward now since the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq this year.

The Ministry of Defense said the allegations were being taken seriously.

The 33 new cases include allegations of controversial techniques widely used by the Americans, including mock executions, dog attacks and exposure to pornography.

“Over 120,000 British troops have served in Iraq and the vast majority have conducted themselves to the highest standards of behavior, displaying integrity and selfless commitment,” the ministry said in a statement. “There have been instances when individuals have behaved badly but only a tiny number have been shown to have fallen short of our high standards. Allegations of this nature are taken very seriously but must not be taken as fact. Formal investigations must be allowed to take their course.”

Armed forces minister Bill Rammell said any new claims of mistreatment will be investigated.

In one of the most serious allegations, a 16-year-old boy claimed that he was among a group of Iraqis in May 2003 who were taken to the Shatt-al-Arab British camp to help fill sandbags. In a statement reported by The Independent newspaper, he alleged when he entered a room to get more sandbags he saw two British male soldiers engaged in oral sex. When he tried to leave, he alleges the men started to beat and kick him. When he fell to the floor, he claims one of the men held a blade to his neck while the other soldier stripped him naked. He claims the two British soldiers, one after the other, raped him.

In another claim, a 24-year-old Iraqi said he was playing football with friends in April 2007 when he was approached by British soldiers in vehicles and taken to a British base with another youth. When he arrived at the camp, he was allegedly surrounded by six to eight soldiers who ordered two of the young men to pick fights with one another. He alleges that the soldiers then stood on top of them and shouted and laughed.

Another 35-year-old carpenter said he was arrested in April 2006 and taken to the British camp at Shaaibah where he alleges he was subjected to sexual abuse and humiliation by both male and female soldiers.

He alleged soldiers used to watch pornographic films and would play loud music when he tried to pray. He also alleged that female soldiers exposed themselves or taunted him sexually. He alleged a soldier in the observation tower used to point the laser spot of his gun at his penis when he was in the toilet.

At the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, female guards and interrogators were documented as using aggressive and sexually charged techniques with the detainees, most of whom were Muslim.

It was unclear when results of the investigation would be released.

White Man Rapes 5 Month Infant After Watching Porn

A Miller County man is in custody for allegedly beating and sexually assaulting a five-month-old infant.

Aaron Michael Fisher, 21, of Brumley, was taken into custody by the Osage Beach Police Department on Oct. 28  after the infant was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Fisher was arrested at the hospital, then turned over to the Miller County Sheriff’s Department. He is being held in Miller County without bond.

Fisher is charged with two counts of felony sodomy.

According to court documents, the infant had signs of “apparent physical and sexual child abuse.”

The infant, identified only by initials and gender in the court documents, was later transferred to the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. The infant was bleeding internally, had sustained a head injury and had several broken bones. There was evidence of sexual abuse listed in the documents.

The infant remains hospitalized in critical condition. Fisher and the child’s mother had been living in Brumley. Fisher had just recently moved to Missouri from Michigan.

In a statement given to the Miller County Sheriff’s Department on Oct. 29, Fisher admitted that while the infant had been in his care, he had “watched some pornographic media.” He then described in detail what he had done to the infant.

The documents did not state whether Fisher was home alone with the infant when the alleged abuse took place.

According to the documents, Fisher’s mother recently fled to another state after she was assaulted by her son.

The infant and a 2-year-old sibling have been placed in emergency protective care of the 26th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Services. The Miller County office of the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division, along with the juvenile office and sheriff’s department are involved in the ongoing investigation.

A young woman cried rape after ‘fulfilling a fantasy’ of having sex with two strangers, a court heard yesterday.

Chloe Dolton, 22, was ‘bored’ with her life and willingly engaged in the threesome after an argument with her boyfriend, it was alleged.

A jury heard she had previously expressed her sexual fantasies in a diary, in which she wrote: ‘I am in crisis. I am so bored of my life and need a miracle.

‘I try to be nice and decent but I always end up one way or another trying to **** someone, a girl or a boy.’

The entry on a computer diary entitled The Life of Chloe Dolton continued: ‘I should be out having fun with every boy I meet, having sex with whoever I like.

‘I am such a hateful girl, such a selfish girl.’

The prosecution said she fulfilled her fantasy at the end of an evening spent drinking alcohol, and later accused the two men of rape because she was ashamed of what she had done.

Dolton told police that Robert Joborski and Gregor Bukowski grabbed her as she walked home alone from a late-night party where she had played drinking games.

She said they then raped her in a stone shelter built into the side of a cliff in the North Devon resort of Ilfracombe.

The two men were later arrested but never charged. They said the sex had been consensual and that Dolton had approached them late at night in a ‘chatty and friendly’ manner.

Mr Bukowski said after they met he had put his arm around her and they started kissing before Dolton asked if he had a condom.

He then had sex with her although the prosecutor said the ’sex came to a premature end’ when Dolton received a phone call from her live-in boyfriend.

Afterwards it is said she had sex with Mr Bukowski again and invited Mr Joborski to join them, and performed a sex act on him. She then returned home where she told her boyfriend she had been raped by the two Polish men.

Dolton’s boyfriend went to the scene of the alleged crime where he found two condoms which were handed over to

police. But officers who investigated the rape allegations in June 2007 noticed there were ’strikingly different’ versions from Dolton and the two Poles who were arrested and interviewed separately.

Prosecutor Jo Martin told Exeter Crown Court: ‘It is not unusual for rapists to claim that sex was consensual.’

But she said CCTV evidence and other inconsistencies in mobile phone records of calls and texts would show that Dolton had met the two Poles before the ‘alleged attack’ and that the men had not grabbed and assaulted her.

The jury heard that on her way home to her flat after the sex, Dolton also bumped into a friend but failed to tell him that she had been raped.

The two Poles gave evidence in court and said Dolton, from Braunton, North Devon, laughed with them and appeared happy after their encounter and that was the last they saw of her.

Dolton denies perverting the course of justice by making the false rape claims.

Miss Martin said of the defendant: ‘She deliberately lied to her boyfriend, her family and friends and to the police.

‘She clearly lied because probably of her shame and regret. She had in fact had consensual sex with two complete strangers.’

Every day 20,000 to 30,000 attempts by Swedes to enter child pornography sites are blocked, according to the latest figures from the police, who say that filters introduced in April are working.

Between 80% and 90% of child porn web sites are blocked by the filters, reported Svenska Dagbladet, after a joint operation by the police, the organisation Ecpat, which works against child prostitution and pornography, and several internet service providers.

There are around 1,100 web sites on the police’s blacklist. Anyone who tries to access them is shown a “barrier page” instead, which prevents the user from going any further.

The number of attempts to access the sites is usually highest at the weekends.

“Since we have never had filters before we had no idea of how many people were looking for these sorts of sites. It’s interesting that such a high number are trying to do so,” said Annethe Ahlenius at the police’s child pornography unit, to SvD.

The figures for the number of blocks do not, however, reveal precisely how many individuals are attempting to access the sites.

One persistent person could account for many attempts, and the number could include people who inadvertently stumble across the pages.

Nevertheless, the figures are “grotesque”, said Ecpat’s general secretary Helena Karlén.

“It’s significant and shocking that so many people in our country are interested in watching children being raped and in certain cases tortured,” she said to SvD.

Trial Starts for German Neo-Nazi Killer Of Pregnant Egyptian Woman

What is truly disturbing and despicable are the number of whites supporting the murder of this woman and her unborn child. Will justice be done?

 

The killing of Marwa el-Sherbini provoked outrage among Muslims for its sheer brutality and brazenness. According to witnesses, the pregnant mother was stabbed to death in front of a courtroom full of people in Germany by a man with an apparently deep-seated hatred of Muslims. Thousands marched in Egypt, Iran and other Muslim countries against what they perceived as a disturbing rise of Islamophobia and racism in Germany, as well as the scant attention the attack received in the German media.

Now, four months later, the trial of el-Sherbini’s alleged killer is being closely watched by Muslims across the world — not to mention Germany’s four-million-strong Muslim community — amid fears that anything but a severe punishment for the defendant, an unemployed Russian émigré identified only as Alex W., could spark more unrest. In Egypt, where el-Sherbini has been dubbed by the media as the “headscarf martyr,” people are expecting “justice to be administered in a swift way,” Ramzy Ezzeldin Ramzy, Egypt’s ambassador to Germany, told Al-Jazeera.

The trial began Monday in exactly the same courthouse in Dresden where the killing took place. The 28-year-old defendant wore a cap, a dark blue hooded top and sunglasses to conceal his face as he was led into the courtroom flanked by police officers and seated behind a screen of bulletproof glass. Prosecutors then described how el-Sherbini, 31, was attacked. The pharmacist had appeared in court on July 1 to testify in a hearing against Alex W., who was appealing an earlier conviction for defaming el-Sherbini by calling her an “Islamist” and a “terrorist” on a playground. Prosecutors say that after el-Sherbini’s testimony, Alex W. lunged at her with a seven-inch kitchen knife he had smuggled into court and stabbed her at least 16 times. Her husband, Elwy Okaz, 32, was also repeatedly stabbed before being shot by a policeman who mistook him for el-Sherbini’s attacker. El-Sherbini, who was three months pregnant at the time, bled to death in front of the couple’s 3-year-old son.

Okaz was back in court on Monday, walking with the help of crutches after having undergone two operations. “We wanted to leave the court and then he attacked her,” Okaz said in a calm voice, recalling the incident. “When I saw that he had a knife, I tried to get it off him. He continued stabbing my wife even when she was lying on the ground.” Okaz said their son was meant to be in kindergarten on the day of the attack but he was ill. “Marwa wanted to take him to the doctor after the hearing. The little boy misses her and he’s suffering a lot,” Okaz testified.

Alex W., who emigrated from Russia in 2003 and was granted German citizenship because he had distant ethnic roots to the country, faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted of murder and attempted murder. Prosecutors say he had been motivated by a deep-rooted racism. “He stabbed [the couple] out of pure hatred against non-Europeans and Muslims. He wanted to kill them,” prosecutor Frank Heinrich told the court Monday.

Surprisingly, the killing was scarcely reported in Germany, which caused massive embarrassment for Chancellor Angela Merkel’s government when the story made headlines across the Muslim world. Following the demonstrations in Egypt, Merkel expressed her condolences to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on the sidelines of the G-8 summit in Italy in July. Given the outcry over the lack of publicity before, Alex W.’s trial is now receiving extensive coverage in the country. German political leaders are also nervously watching the proceedings. “Politicians regarded the murder of Marwa el-Sherbini as a foreign policy issue, but it was really an internal matter,” Ali Kizilkaya, the head of the Islamic Council of Germany, tells TIME. “The case shows that a small part of German society is Islamophobic and that shouldn’t be underestimated. Politicians have to learn that Muslims must be recognized as an equal part of German society.” He added, though, that he has faith in the German justice system and he’s confident there will be a fair judgment in the case.

If not, some fear a possible repeat of the riots that swept the Muslim world following the publication of cartoons lampooning the Prophet Muhammad several years ago in Denmark. After death threats against Alex W. were reportedly posted on the Internet, Dresden authorities imposed extra security measures for the duration of the trial. Roads around the courthouse have been closed off and 200 police officers will stand guard until a verdict is reached, which is expected to be on Nov. 11. With tensions running high, German authorities aren’t taking any chances this time.

WILTON, Calif. (CBS13) ― A Wilton man is upset over a naked barn dance near his home that, he says, happened within clear view of children. He captured the dirty dancing on home video.

The party was held over the weekend in a field that will soon be full of Christmas trees. But on Saturday, the field was home to a completely different type of celebration.

The home video shows a group called “The Capitol Crossroads Gay Rodeo Association” at play. Dance contestants’ names were called out as men’s bare buns and frontal regions are exposed.

Monty Stanley shot the video. He says he could see all the nudity from his home across the street.

“They were dancing under the stars,” said Stanley. “You can’t have man on man, woman on woman, men on women; you can’t subject these children to looking at that kind of stuff.”

Stanley says the night of the dance his kids had neighborhood friends over for the night.

“I was sickened by seeing men on public display there…in clear view of children,” said Stanley.

The gay men’s group had a legal permit for the event. Star Weubbe owns the Christmas tree lot land they rented, but says she didn’t know naked dancing would be involved.

“That was something that I certainly would not have permitted,” said Weubbe.

The barn dance has turned into the talk of this small Wilton town.

“I look at it if it happened anywhere else in town, somebody would be in jail for a felony for exposing themselves to children,” said Stanley.

Was this a case of public indecent exposure? The Sacramento County Sheriff’s department says it’s unclear. Could the naked eye have seen the naked men from the roadway? That would be the key to any prosecution.

Brusly, Louisiana – Charles Kazmir, a 22-year-old Louisiana man has been arrested after he was caught on security camera looking into a teenage girl’s bedroom window – naked and masturbating.

According to Brusly Police, Kazmir was identified after the family of the young girl obtained surveillance video that captured him without pants outside their daughter’s bedroom window.

Investigators say the teens’ parents caught onto Kazmir’s activities when he assembled bricks outside her window to step on while peering into her room. Each time the bricks were put in their original place, Kazmir would reportedly stack them up again, prompting the girl’s parents to install a surveillance camera.

“this is to me more than a peeping tom, to take it to that level,” said police spokesperson Jamie Whaley. “He was stripped down, totally getting nude in the photos and touching himself.”

Kazmir was booked into jail on 7 counts of criminal trespass, obscenity, voyeurism, peeping tom and criminal mischief.

CHARLOTTE – A North Carolina man charged in the abduction of his two adopted daughters, including a 12-year-old pregnant girl, is now facing rape and incest charges.

Matthew Hess, 40, is charged with indecent liberties with a child, first-degree rape and felony incest between near relatives.

The suspect and his adopted daughters were part of an Amber Alert that was issued last week. The children were located and are now safe.

The man is already charged with child neglect and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The girls’ mother reported them missing last month when the 12-year-old failed to show for a doctor’s appointment. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said troopers arrested the man last week.

America is now the number one destination in the world for child sex trafficking, according to the State Department Bureau of Justice Statistics.

Sex trafficking of modern-day slaves is at an all-time high and larger U.S. cities are major markets for this illegal sex trade industry.

On Oct. 21 and 22, specialists from around the nation will convene in Tulsa to hold Oklahoma’s first Human Trafficking Awareness and Training Conference.

Law enforcement experts from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Marshals from Texas and the Department of Justice Prosecutors from Washington D.C. will be on hand conducting workshops and panel discussions.

Additionally, experienced psychiatrists, social workers and case workers will address treatment and care for victims of sex trafficking.

Recent findings from Law enforcement agencies, non-profit anti-trafficking organizations and Shared Hope International indicate that Houston is now the number one city for child sex trafficking, with Las Vegas and Atlanta ranking second and third.

According to FBI experts, traffickers are known to move their victims from state to state to avoid being detected.

“Our highway systems have become the new slave trade routes of these modern-day sex slaves,” said Mark Elam, of Oklahomans Against Trafficking Humans.

With Interstates 40 and 44 connecting the east and west coasts and I-35 connecting Mexico and Houston to northern cities, Oklahoma is right in the crossroads of this growing problem.

The conference, to be held at the Oral Roberts University Zoppelt Auditorium, will consist of a screening of “Call + Response,” a documentary created to expose the terrifying fact that there are more slaves today than ever before in human history.

The event will feature speakers like Theresa Flore, a victim who was sex trafficked while in high school, and sessions covering types of human trafficking in Oklahoma with FBI special agents discussing local problem areas.

Students seeking careers in social work and psychology can earn six hours of continuing education credits. The general public is also invited to attend so they can become aware of how traffickers are targeting American kids and grooming children online to become the next wave of victims.

Kansas City, Mo  – James Phillips Edwards, a 60-year-old Kansas City man was formally charged Wednesday after he allegedly gave sedative-laced ice cream to underage girls and then filmed them in pornographic poses while they were unconscious.

An investigation was opened on Edwards after he allegedly used a file-sharing program to download several images of child pornography. Investigators traced the source of the images to a computer registered to Edwards and obtained a search warrant.

Kansas City police entered Edwards’ home and seized his computer where they found images of at least eight girls who appeared to be unconscious. Some of the images were found in a file entitled “Consuming The Date Rape Drug”.

An investigation of that file revealed images and video that showed Edwards giving drinks and ice cream to the girls before they are shown apparently unconscious. Edwards appeared at several points in the video.

Police declined to say how many potential victims there were or how Edwards had gained access to them. Detectives in the case believe that all of the victims were accounted for and their current “safety has been confirmed”.

Edwards allegedly told investigators that he did not believe that he had done anything wrong. After his arrest, Edwards allegedly gave a videotaped statement to officials in which he stated that he had given Ambien to “multiple minor girls” ranging in age from 6 to 12.

Edwards was booked into jail on charges of advertising, possessing and attempting to distribute child pornography.

If convicted on all charges, Edwards could be sentenced to up to 30 years in prison on the advertising child pornography charge, up to 20 years on the attempted distribution charge and up to 10 years on the possession charge.

Prosecutors also noted that a second case involving distribution and receipt of child pornography — unrelated to the investigation that led to Wednesday’s indictment — is being pursued by another, unidentified law enforcement agency.

A man who allegedly videotaped a friend having sex with a horse at a farm in Washington state in 2005 is now accused of performing sex acts with a horse in Tennessee.

James Tait, 58, was arrested and charged Thursday with three counts of felony animal cruelty. Kenny Thomason, 44, the farm owner who lives with Tait in a Nashville suburb, was charged with two counts of the same crime.

“This is one of the most upsetting days I’ve ever dealt with,” Maury County Sheriff Enoch George said Friday, according to the Columbia Daily Herald.

Tait and Thomason were each being held on more than $100,000 bail.

According to an arrest warrant, Tait engaged in sex acts with a stud horse at the Double Branch Road farm over a span of several months.

A complaint from a citizen prompted an investigation. The person e-mailed investigators a photo of a man who appeared to be having sex with a Shetland pony.

Authorities went to the property, which Detective Terry Chandler said housed 13 horses, Shetland ponies, goats and dogs.

The detective said that it appears that people had been having sex with ponies and dogs as well as the stud horse.

Capt. Jimmy Tennyson said authorities have recovered pictures of Tait engaging in the acts with the horse.

“More charges are coming. They’ve been having sex with full-grown horses,” Chandler told The Seattle Times on Monday. “He [Tait] has been here for four years and it looks like it has been going on for some time.”

Fatal horseplay
In 2005, Tait was identified by police as having videotaped his friend Kenneth Pinyan having sex with a horse at a farm in Enumclaw, Wash., about 40 miles south of Seattle. Pinyan eventually died from internal injuries he suffered from having sex with the equine, authorities said.

Sheriff’s investigators in King County, Wash., found about 100 pornographic videos depicting Tait and others performing sex acts with animals, including the fatal incident, said Sgt. John Uruquhart.

But there were no Washington laws against bestiality at the time and there wasn’t sufficient evidence the horse had been injured.

Tait was charged with criminal trespassing. He entered an Alford plea, meaning he did not admit guilt but acknowledged a jury likely would convict him. He was sentenced to one year of probation and fined $300.

After the incident, the Washington Legislature passed a law making bestiality a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The Enumclaw case was the subject of the recent documentary “Zoo” by Seattle filmmaker Robinson Devor.

Opelousas, Louisiana – Frank Lahay, a 28-year-old Louisiana man was arrested after he was caught masturbating inside the St. Landry Parish Courthouse.

According to Opelousas Police, Lahay was caught on surveillance camera masturbating inside the St. Landry Parish Courthouse.

Investigators say Lahay was in a public hallway of the courthouse when he began masturbating in full view of the passing public. Lahay was fully exposed, using his baggy shirt to cover himself when people passed by. He was then caught on a second surveillance camera masturbating in a chair.

The alleged act continued for over an hour before a secretary realized what Lahay was doing. She alerted a supervisor who reportedly chased the man down as he attempted to flee the courthouse.

Lahay was booked into jail on charges of committing a lewd act and public indecency.

Michigan police say a 35-year-old mother used the Internet to track down the son she gave up for adoption a decade ago, seducing and raping the teenage boy when she found him after an online search.

Aimee Louise Sword of Waterford Township, near Detroit, was arraigned this week on three charges of criminal sexual conduct for the alleged rape of her biological son, whom she put up for adoption more than 10 years ago, MyFOXDetroit reported.

Prosecutors say the boy is still a minor, but won’t disclose whether he knew the woman was his mother — a situation that has horrified mental health experts who are calling the case “an abomination.”

“I don’t think I’ve heard of another case like this in my career,” said Dr. Gerald Shiener, chief of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit.

“Our first reaction to hearing about something like this is that this is every man’s nightmare. It’s an abomination,” he told MyFOXDetroit.

“I’m at a loss for words because it’s something that we consider to be so out of the normal, so prohibited in every culture that it unnerves every man just to think about it.”

Sword surrendered to Waterford Township police on April 24, the Oakland Press reported, but was freed on bond Wednesday following her arraignment. The house at her listed home address is abandoned.

Sword’s attorney Kenneth Burch told the Press that his client “maintains her presumption of innocence” and said the accusations of incest have been very difficult for her.

But Sword herself has spoken since she first was arrested, writing on her MySpace page that she was inspired by rapper and former jailbird Lil’ Kim because “she rises during the worst of obstacles.”

“Reminded me of myself,” Sword wrote on the Web page, where she uses the name Aimee Pope.

Though Sword is apparently confident of her ability to recover from the charges, Shiener, the psychiatric doctor, worries that if the allegations are true, the damage to the boy could be long-lasting.

“This could be his first sexual experience, and his first sexual experience could be something so conflicted, so unusual, so prohibited that it will stay with him for life,” Shiener said.

No one answered at Patton’s Montrose area apartment Monday afternoon. An unidentified woman who arrived while Eyewitness News was there had no comment.

Back in April, police seized Patton’s computer from his apartment during an unrelated investigation, when they discovered a series of disturbing pictures, 27 in all.

“HPD sent the images to the FBI forensics laboratory for examination,” explained Donna Hawkins with the Harris County District Attorney’s office.

According to court documents, it was determined that the images were taken in November 2004, before Patton worked for Earthman. However, last month when police showed Patton the offensive pictures recovered from his computer, the investigator asked, ‘When was the last time you did this?’

Patton responded, ‘A year ago,’ which would have been on or about September 2008, while Patton was employed as the funeral director at Earthman.

A spokesperson for SCI says she is not aware of any other incidents, and released the following statement:

“These allegations are deeply disturbing. They are contrary to everything the entire funeral profession stands for. The vast majority of people in the funeral industry are people with the utmost integrity. They are caring, compassionate professionals who daily help families through extremely difficult times.”

SCI says it will continue to cooperate with authorities. Abuse of a corpse is a class A misdemeanor. If Patton is convicted, he could spend up to a year in jail and could face up to a $4,000 fine.

Principal Charged With Sodomizing Underage Boy, Providing Alcohol To Four Minors

Whitesville, Kentucky – Allison Brant, a 31-year-old principal at St. Mary of the Woods Elementary School, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly having sex with a teen boy and supplying alcohol to four other teens.

Kentucky State Police say Brant was arrested when it was learned she had had sex with a 15-year-old boy multiple times and had supplied four other teens with alcohol at her residence.

According to authorities, Brant, who was the principal at St. Mary of the Woods Elementary, had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy through December of last year through January.

Arrest reports further allege Brant supplied four teenagers, aged 16-18, with alcohol at her Whitesville home in September.

The suspect has resigned from her position as principal at St. Mary’s.

Brant was booked in to Davies County Jail on charges of 3rd degree rape, three counts of 3rd degree sodomy, and 4 counts of unlawful transactions with a minor. She is being held on $37,000 bond.

A convicted sex offender who was placed on a list of the UK’s most wanted criminals thought to be living in Spain has been arrested on a Greek island.

Stephen Burnell, 56, of Scunthorpe, has been missing since 2007, when he failed to attend York Crown Court for trial.

He was convicted of offences including attempted rape in his absence and given a six-year jail term.

Burnell was the second man wanted under an appeal targeting fugitives abroad to be arrested in 24 hours.

Leeds-born Ronald Priestley, 69, was arrested in Malaga on Wednesday in connection with £4.25m of currency counterfeiting offences.

Burnell was detained on the Greek island of Crete on Wednesday.

His offences were carried out in North Yorkshire and included the attempted rape and indecent assault of a nine-year-old girl who he abused over four years.

Det Insp Keith Ruff, who led the North Yorkshire Police investigation into Burnell, said: “We are delighted that the law has caught up with this man.

“Our thoughts immediately go to the victim at the centre of the case and hope that she can now take some comfort from the fact that he is no longer at liberty.

“Burnell must now face up to his despicable crimes.”

‘Incredible achievement’

Last month Burnell was named as one of 10 men being targeted in an appeal by the Crimestoppers charity on the Costa Del Sol, known as Operation Captura.

Priestley was featured in the first appeals made under Operation Captura in October 2006.

Crimestoppers’ founder and chairman, Lord Ashcroft, said: “To have two most wanted men arrested within 24 hours is an incredible achievement.

“The fact is that more than half the criminals who have been featured under Operation Captura have already been caught.

“Therefore my message to the rest of them, still on the run, is that it doesn’t matter which island they are sunning themselves on, they should put their affairs in order and find a tenant for their villas, because there’s a good chance they will be soon on their way home.”

Frederic Mitterrand, who is openly gay and a close friend of First Lady Carla Bruni, had described the arrest of the film director for sleeping with a 13-year-old girl as ‘absolutely horrifying’.

But critics were today pointing to the Culture Minister’s autobiography ‘The Bad Life’, in which he admits having been a sex tourist in Thailand.

Mitterrand, nephew of the late Socialist president Francois Mitterrand, wrote: ‘I got into the habit of paying for boys.

Bizarrely, there was little fuss when the book first came out in 2005.

But when Mitterrand began trying to defend Polanski there was an outcry – to the great embarrassment of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who also initially defended Polanski.

Polanski is in a Zurich jail facing deportation to the U.S. over an outstanding conviction for unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.

Today he was slammed by critics on French television and radio.

Benoit Hamon, the opposition Socialist Party spokesman, said: ‘As a minister of culture he has drawn attention to himself by defending a film maker and he has written a book where he said he took advantage of sexual tourism.

‘To say the least, I find it shocking.’

Jean-Marie Le Pen’s far-right National Front Party has also called for Mitterrand’s resignation.

In turn, Mitterrand responded that he was ‘flabbergasted’ by the fuss, saying: ‘If the National Front drag me through the mud then it is an honour for me. If a leftist politician drags me through the mud then it is a humiliation for him.’

Mitterrand joined the cabinet in June after Ms Bruni championed him as a friend of the arts from a great political dynasty.

France initially called for Polanski’s release, but has since withdrawn its support for the 76-year-old director of films like Rosemary’s Baby, Chinatown and The Pianist.

Phenomenon of young men pimping underage schoolchildren prompts national wave of soul-searching

On her first day of secondary school, a nervous 12-year-old Maria Mosterd was noticed by a much older boy from the technical college next door, wearing a baby-blue tracksuit and diamond jewellery. “He was big, fat and ugly, but he was impressive because all the boys respected him,” she said. “I was kind of scared of him. All the girls wanted him to talk to them. But he only said hello to me, so I thought I was special.”

They got chatting in the playground and two weeks later the boy, Manou, persuaded her to skip class, drove her to his student flat, gave her a joint and slept with her. She didn’t want to, but was told all girls had to learn how to do it. “You’ll do well, you’re the right size, you’re well taken care of, they like that,” he said. She didn’t really know what he meant, laughed at the smiley faces on his boxer shorts, and then passed out from the dope.

To Maria, Manou promised a bit of excitement in Zwolle, the “boring” provincial town where she lived with her Dutch mother, who taught drama at another school. Her father was from Suriname, but she didn’t know him. She called herself a “half-blood” and often felt she didn’t fit in.

Days later Manou drove her to another flat during morning class. It smelt of drugs and there were two men in the living room. “You’re going to have sex with them, sweetheart,” he said. “Are you mad? I don’t even know them,” she laughed. He took her into the kitchen, beat her “to make her listen”, then gave her a joint, and she went to the bedroom with the men. Afterwards, he dropped her back at school and she cycled home to her mum. She didn’t tell anyone. He promised her nice clothes and took her to McDonald’s for ice-cream. He gave her a mobile phone and called her every night in her bedroom at home, controlling everything, telling her when to go to the toilet, eat, go to bed. “I thought it was normal,” she said.

Manou was a “loverboy” – a phenomenon that has plunged the Netherlands into a wave of soul-searching. Loverboys, often in their 20s, single out insecure, underage girls in schools, coffee-shops, outside care homes, and woo them as “boyfriends”, promising love, clothes, status and excitement. Then they start to run them as prostitutes, drug-mules and gun-runners, or extort money from them, isolating them from their friends and families.

The girls, emotionally and financially dependant on their loverboys, find themselves locked into a cycle of abuse, sometimes made to work in windows in official red-light districts or being handed from flat to flat in several cities.

The decade-old problem in the Netherlands has now been catapulted on to the political agenda after Mosterd wrote an account of her four years from the age of 12 to 16 when she was forced to work for her loverboy. The book, Real Men Don’t Eat Cheese, has been a bestseller, a film is in pre-production, and politicians, police, teachers and parents are mobilising like never before.

The public is asking why, in a nation where prostitution above the age of 18 is legal and regulated, a crooked sub-culture of loverboys and their child-prostitute “girlfriends” exists. Mosterd’s family is suing her school for not properly investigating her truancy. Jamila Yahyaoui, of the Dutch Socialist party, which is pressing the government for more police action, more prosecutions and more shelters for victims, said: “Every year several hundred girls fall into the hands of loverboys, but only five cases lead to convictions. That has to change.”

Sitting in her living room, Mosterd, now 20, described her daily routine. “I would go to school on my bike. He’d be waiting for me. He’d give me different clothes to wear, otherwise my mother would smell the smoke on me. He thought of everything. He’d make sure I was back at home by 5pm, so I could have dinner with my mum.”

During the day she would be driven to houses and flats to sleep with men, often two or three at a time. There were rapes and beatings. She had to help single out other girls and deliver drugs and guns in her school bag – the police never noticed “a sweet little girl”.

“Manou had regular customers. Some were fathers, family men, company directors, school directors,” she said.

Eventually, after four years of truancy, a teacher confronted Mosterd, asking what was wrong. She didn’t know what to say, so she told a part truth about a recent ordeal where Manou had promised a “surprise” and driven her to “a house full of men”, saying she had to sleep with them all. She told the teacher about a vague gang rape. “I couldn’t work out why the teacher and then my mother made such a drama of it. By then it was all normal to me,” she said.

Mosterd’s mother, Lucie, is angry that the school never told her about the truancy, and that she never worked out what was going on, despite meeting Manou, who she thought was just a friend. “If it could happen to me as a mother, it could happen to anyone,” she said. “Maria would always shower when she came in, but I thought she was sweaty from cycling home. She never went out at night. I didn’t know what was going on in school time.”

Three men got short sentences for the gang rape. But Mosterd has not yet brought a case against Manou.

Amanda de Wind, who manages a project that runs the Netherlands’ only anonymous shelter specifically for escaped victims of loverboys, said: “I think this kind of thing is happening in every country, such as England, Germany, Russia, and accounts for 99% of the prostitution of young girls.”

In most of the cases she saw the girls had mental health problems; many had previously been victims of sexual abuse. “A loverboy can easily spot and target someone who has been raped,” she said.

Often a loverboy would take a girl with him to watch while he beat up someone else, she added. “The girls are told: ‘If you run away, I’ll go after your sister, your mother’.” Recently loverboys have branched out into drug-running and extortion, which is harder for the police to spot. “We have seen loverboys making the girls take out bank loans when they turn 18 and hand over the money, or register cars and insurance in their name,” De Wind said.

Mosterd said she wasn’t “in love” with her loverboy, but she lived for the happy moments, such as when he took her for an ice-cream on her 13th birthday. She never saw any money, but was offered limitless hash.

Asked if he gave her heroin, she said: “He didn’t have to make me addicted to drugs, because I was addicted to him.”

Australian seniors get brothel discount

Stuart, Florida – Robert Stark Higgins, a 21-year-old Florida man was arrested Saturday after he broke into a resident’s backyard and jumped naked into a pool while covered with feces.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, a naked Higgins, who was covered with feces, broke into a resident’s backyard and helped himself to the resident’s pool.

Deputies say the resident became alarmed when he heard Higgins crash through the screen of his pool and proceed to go for a swim. Higgens then reportedly grabbed a towel and fled the scene.

Higgins, who deputies said had been drinking, was arrested a short time later.

He was booked into the Martin County Jail on charges of burglary to an occupied dwelling, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor theft. Bail was set at $10,500.

St. Johnsbury, Vermont – Brenda Simard-Reid, a 40-year-old Vermont woman was arraigned Monday on charges she sent a 13-year-old girl photographs of humans having sex with donkeys.

According to police, an investigation was launched after a 13-year-old girl’s foster parents discovered the teen had been sent photographs of humans having sex with animals, including donkeys. The incident was then reported to the Vermont Department of Children and Families.

Investigators say the images were sent to the teen’s phone by Simard-Reid, who is reportedly a relative of the victim. The images were sent last May, according to court records.

Simard-Reid was booked into jail on six counts of disseminating indecent material to a minor. She pleaded not guilty to all six counts. Simard Reid’s attorney argued that other individuals had access to the phone and could have sent the photographs.

The victim’s phone was confiscated because she was viewing the images while riding the school bus.

Vero Beach, Florida  – Horace Dean, a 67-year-old Florida man, was arrested Thursday on charges he sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl with a screwdriver.

According to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, the alleged sexual assault was discovered after the child’s mother brought her into a hospital to be examined for a suspected urinary tract infection.

Investigators say an investigation was launched after medical personnel at River Medical Center treated the girl for vaginal injuries. The mother told detectives that her daughter had been complaining about vaginal irritation for several weeks. The girl then told her mother and detectives that she had been abused by Dean with a screwdriver, according to the arrest affidavit.

Dean was booked into the Indian River County Jail on a charge of capital sexual battery. Bond in his case was set at $50,000.

White man Pleads Guilty To Feeding Father To Coyotes

Jeremiah Raymond Berry pleaded guilty on Friday to killing his sexually abusive father and feeding him to coyotes.

Jeremiah Raymond Berry was sentenced to three years in a Colorado Department of Corrections facility followed by 10 years of “intense supervised” probation. He appeared Friday afternoon before 22nd Judicial District Judge Douglas Walker, who accepted a plea deal reached between the district attorney and Berry’s public defender.

Berry, who cried throughout his sentencing hearing, had been charged with second-degree murder for the February 2008 death of his father, 42-year-old Jack Berry. Jeremiah Berry had faced 48 years in prison if convicted of that charge in Montezuma County. He had previously pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, but doctors concluded during two mental evaluations that he was competent to stand trial.

Jeremiah Berry shot his father in the head, and then dismembered his corpse to feed parts of it to coyotes, according to court documents. Authorities said they also found some of Jack Berry’s body parts encased in a bucket with concrete.
Jeremiah Berry told police he killed his father after his father raped him. He said his father told him that day he had been told by God his son needed a sex change to become his wife.

Poland okays forcible castration for pedophiles

Why not apply the death penalty? Are there a high number pedophiles running around in Poland?

WARSAW (Reuters) – Poland on Friday approved a law making chemical castration mandatory for paedophiles in some cases, sparking criticism from human rights groups.

Under the law, sponsored by Poland’s centre-right government, paedophiles convicted of raping children under the age of 15 years or a close relative would have to undergo chemical therapy on their release from prison.

“The purpose of this action is to improve the mental health of the convict, to lower his libido and thereby to reduce the risk of another crime being committed by the same person,” the government said in a statement.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said late last year he wanted obligatory castration for paedophiles, whom he branded ‘degenerates’. Tusk said he did not believe “one can use the term ‘human’ for such individuals, such creatures”.

“Therefore I don’t think protection of human rights should refer to these kind of events,” Tusk also said.

His remarks drew criticism from human rights groups but he never retracted them.

“Introducing any mandatory treatment raises doubts as such a requirement is never reasonable and life can always produce cases that lawmakers could never have even dreamt of,” said Piotr Kladoczny from the Helsinki Foundation of Human Rights.

“If somebody is of sound mind, we punish him. If he is sick, we try to cure him — that’s how it works in Polish law. This bill introduces both approaches. As far as I know, this makes our law the strictest in Europe on this issue,” Kladoczny said.

The bill, which also increases prison sentences for rape and incest, must still be approved by the upper chamber of parliament. This is seen as a formality as Tusk’s Civic Platform party holds a majority of its 100 seats.

Roman Polanski in Swiss custody

ZURICH – Director Roman Polanski was taken into custody, Swiss police confirmed Sunday, on a 1978 U.S. arrest warrant for having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Polanski was flying in to receive an honorary award at the Zurich Film Festival when he was detained late Saturday at the airport, organizers at the festival said in a statement.

Zurich police spokesman Stefan Oberlin confirmed Polanski’s arrest, but refused to provide more details because he said it was a matter for the Swiss Justice Ministry.

Ministry spokesman Guido Balmer declined to comment. Rudolf Wyss, the Justice Ministry deputy director, also declined to comment on the case. But he told The AP that Switzerland and the U.S. have an extradition treaty dating back to the 1950s that is still in force.

The Polish-born director fled the United States in 1978, a year after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.

The 76-year-old director of such classic films as “Chinatown” and “Rosemary’s Baby” has asked a U.S. appeals court in California to overturn a judges’ refusal to throw out his case. He claims misconduct by the now-deceased judge who had arranged a plea bargain and then reneged on it.

Polanski has lived for the past three decades in France, where his career has continued to flourish. He received a directing Oscar in absentia for the 2002 movie “The Pianist.”

Festival organizers said Polanski’s detention had caused “shock and dismay,” but that they would go ahead with Sunday’s planned retrospective of the director’s work.

The Swiss Directors Association sharply criticized authorities for what it deemed “not only a grotesque farce of justice, but also an immense cultural scandal.”

A native of France who was taken to Poland by his parents, Polanski escaped Krakow’s Jewish ghetto as a child and lived off the charity of strangers. His mother died at the Auschwitz Nazi death camp.

He worked his way into filmmaking in Poland, gaining an Oscar nomination for best foreign-language film in 1964 for his “Knife in the Water.” Offered entry to Hollywood, he directed the classic “Rosemary’s Baby” in 1968.

But his life was shattered again in 1969 when his wife, actress Sharon Tate, and four other people were gruesomely murdered by followers of Charles Manson. She was eight months pregnant.

He went on to make another American classic, “Chinatown,” released in 1974.

In 1977, he was accused of raping a teenager while photographing her during a modeling session. The girl said Polanski plied her with champagne and part of a Quaalude pill at Jack Nicholson’s house while the actor was away. She said that, despite her protests, he performed oral sex, intercourse and sodomy on her.

Polanski was allowed to plead guilty to one of six charges, unlawful sexual intercourse, and was sent to prison for 42 days of evaluation.

Lawyers agreed that would be his full sentence, but the judge tried to renege on the plea bargain. Aware the judge would sentence him to more prison time and require his voluntary deportation, Polanski fled to France.

The now 45-year-old victim, Samantha Geimer, who long ago identified herself publicly, has joined in Polanski’s bid for dismissal, saying she wants the case to be over. She sued Polanski and reached an undisclosed settlement.

Delhi Township, Ohio – Justice has been served in the case of 28-year-old James Bauer, who was sentenced Wednesday for raping two females – one of whom was a five-year-old girl.

According to court documents, Bauer was first arrested in January when it was learned that he had raped a woman at knife-point in her Dehli Township home after beating and choking her.

The prosecution produced at trial photographs, statements, and physical evidence to make their case against him.

Police also learned that Bauer forced a 5-year-old girl to perform sex acts on him, threatening that if she refused, he would beat her with a belt. Authorities say the incident occurred in 2004.

Bauer, who pleaded guilty to rape and sexual touching, was sentenced to ten years in prison.

Nude Germans want right to roam

Germany is traditionally tolerant of nudity, but a plan to give naked ramblers their own wilderness path is still some way from the sunny uplands.

A campsite manager, Heinz Ludwig, aims to establish Germany’s first official naked ramblers’ footpath – an 18km (11-mile) route in the Harz Mountains.

“But some people are against – it is not directly supported by the community,” he told BBC News.

“I want people to calm down, then we’ll try again next year.”

But he says fans of Freikoerperkultur – Free Body Culture, or FKK for short – have expressed support for the scheme. It would attract naturists to the Wippra and Dankerode areas, in the central German mountain range.

Fully-clothed walkers would be free to use the path, too.

“It’s a secluded area, away from traffic,” Mr Ludwig said. “In the GDR [former communist East Germany] people used to bathe there, too.”

He says some keen naturists have already tested the trail. The plan is to open it officially next May.

A sign has been put up warning those averse to naturism that they might prefer to go elsewhere.

“If you don’t want to see people with nothing on then you should refrain from moving on,” it reads.

The path is overgrown in places, so some funding would be needed to tidy it up and maintain it, Mr Ludwig said.

Kenya, one of Africa’s most popular tourist destinations, is being targeted by Western paedophiles who are exploiting the country’s poverty and lax law enforcement to abuse children, an investigation has discovered.

Reporters for Channel 4 News filmed children – some as young as 12 – in nightclubs in Mombasa where they had gone to meet Western men who had travelled to the country for under-age sex.

Fees for sex with Western tourists can amount to almost five times what most Kenyan labourers earn in a day, and many view the industry as the only way of putting food on the table. “Fatuma goes everywhere because I have no food at home and no money to support her,” Filomena Kangombe, the mother of a 13-year old child prostitute told the programme makers.

At a clinic in Mombasa which specialises in sexual violence over a thousand children have been treated for sexual abuse in last two years – the youngest only six-years-old. Managers estimate that between 40 to 50 per cent of them have been abuse by foreigners.

Leyla, a 14-year-old Kenyan girl who has prostituted herself from more than two years. “When I started I could go into a nightclub, and [could count] 10 or 20 girls. At least you could count and say ‘that one and that one, they are prostitutes,” she told Channel 4 News. “But now there are many, all over the place.”

Much of the trade is propagated by the poverty and economic destitution that has engulfed Kenyan villages, making prostitution a desperate last-ditch option that pushes into the cities and coasts that are frequented by tourists.

In a small village near the town of Malindi, teenagers concede that it is normal for young children to sleep with African men during the low season to prepare for rich foreigners that are set to arrive later, while in a another village near Mombasa, local elders battle to stop their children from heading to the beach in search of sex with foreign visitors.

The film also outlines the plight of children such as Henry, a seven year-old molested by a white man in exchange for pocket money. Despite calls by his father to bring charges, police have told the parents that the tourist has fled to Europe and may never return.

Ms Kaluhi, who shares a flat with a 13-year old peer that first slept with a British tourist at the age of 10, concedes to feelings of guilt. “Sometimes I ask myself, or God, what have I done wrong? I am still a child and I am still doing this.”

Yet a few positive signs suggest that her calls may not remain forever unanswered. In the face of horrific child abuse scandals and authorities that prefer to turn a blind eye, some Kenyans have taken the law into their own hands. The documentary depicts locals hacking down a string of beach huts after discovering that a European tourist had been molesting nine year-olds children inside.

A Unicef report published in 2006 found that thirty percent of Kenyan children between 12 and 18 were engaged in casual sex for money, with over half their clients considered to be European.

According to the study, Italian, German and Swiss nationals were the most common clients – at 18 per cent, 14 per cent and 12 per cent respectively.

Sarah Jones, who wrote the Unicef original report, believes the problems have since intensified further. “We are talking about fifteen to twenty thousand children, and maybe more now, because the population has grown in that time.

“The researchers I work with tell me now that they have a lot of visual evidence of increasing numbers of younger and younger children.”

Meanwhile a new tourist police force is set to be patrolling the beaches by the end of the year. Kenyan Minister of Tourism Najib Balala told Channel 4 News that the government would take “strict action on defaulters, or criminals, who are taking advantage of young children”. But his statement is accompanied by conspicuous reservation that the issue is not “blown out of proportion”.

This, after all, is a country that would far rather be known for its coconut trees and coral reefs, than some of the darker reasons that tourists may be inclined to visit.

John died in 2001 after a long battle with drugs and alcohol. Of cocaine, Mackenzie tells Winfrey, “He put the needle in my arm and pushed the plunger in and he missed.”

“Missed the vein?” Winfrey asks.

“Missed the vein,” Mackenzie replied, “and my whole arm went numb, because it was cocaine.”

Some Phillips family members doubt that everything Mackenzie’s saying about her late father is true, reports Us Weekly.

An elderly Indianapolis woman who says she was sexually assaulted by her younger boyfriend has died.

Metro Police say 80-year-old Kathleen Vargas called police to her home at 1029 North Kealing Avenue in July and told them she was attacked by 46-year-old Monte Ayres.

Police say when Ayres saw them, he took off, but was quickly apprehended.

Ayres already faces Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Rape, Criminal Deviate Conduct and Resisting Law Enforcement Charges. He could now face murder charges.

Police say Vargas died from injuries inflicted by Ayres.

A Muslim-hating Long Island man threatened to murder two women wearing traditional Islamic robes, then tried to run them over at a gas station, police said yesterday.

“This isn’t Halloween! Get into my car so I can f- – - the s- – - out of you, chop you into little pieces and kill you,” Joseph Ballance screamed, according to one of the women.

Ballance, a 23-year-old self-employed landscaper, admitted to investigators he wanted to cut up the women.

“They don’t belong here,” he told detectives, adding, “They shouldn’t be walking around like that.”

Ballance allegedly confronted Chervern Cartier, 49, and her 20-year-old daughter on Aug. 20 in the parking lot of a Hess gas station in Smithtown.

He was enraged because the women were dressed in black Muslim robes, with only their eyes showing, police said.

After the alleged threat, Cartier began writing down the license plate of Ballance’s 1994 Mercury.

He spat on their car, then got into the Mercury, put it in reverse and tried to back over them, the women told cops.

The women were unhurt and Ballance roared off.

“He is full of hatred,” Suffolk County Detective Sgt. Robert Reecks said. “He saw them, the way they were dressed, and it just set him off.”

Ballance was picked up by police at his Islandia home yesterday and held on a charge of second-degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor hate crime.

“This kind of behavior has no place in Suffolk,” County Executive Steve Levy said, adding the county would prosecute offenders “to the fullest extent of the law.”

The woman said the man then drove his car so close to hers that she couldn’t open the gas cap and he “kept striking a match on a matchbook like if I was to start pumping the gas he would throw the match at me,” according to the statement.

In a statement signed by Ballance, he said that while he was at the station, “two people dressed for Halloween looking like the wicked witch,” pulled in.

But Muslim leaders criticized the charge as too lenient, and pressed for federal civil rights charges.

Nayyar Imam, president of the Islamic Association of Long Island in Selden, said he would request to meet with authorities about the charges. “These charges have to be ramped up,” he said. “It’s unacceptable.”

Atascadero, California — Bradley Brainard, a 49-year-old California man has been arrested on accusations of bestiality, producing child pornography and drug trafficking.

According to the California Department of Corrections, Brainard was arrested on a police sting that originally suspected Brainard of dealing drugs and cell phone smuggling.

Authorities reportedly entered the man’s home while he was at work. Inside the home, investigators reportedly discovered several pounds of marijuana, meth and more than four thousand dollars in cash. Investigators also discovered videos that depicted Brainard sexually assaulting a child as well as his dog.

The video allegedly depicted Brainard performing oral sex on a dog while masturbating. Police say he also engaged in sex with other dogs and an unconscious woman. They also found video of a child’s genitals during a diaper change and a young boy wearing high heels.

During an interview, Bradley reportedly told investigators that he became interested in bestiality following a divorce that sent him into depression. No explanation was given for items also found in his home which included women’s undergarments, bondage equipment and various sex toys.

Investigators believe Brainard, who works as an Inmate Day Labor employee with the California Department Of Corrections, was trafficking drugs into the facility.

He was booked on charges of drug transportation, sales and trafficking into the jail. Police announced that they did not expect to file charges regarding the contents of the videos they found. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond. His next hearing is scheduled for June 8th.

Jaycee Dugard Found After 18 Years, White Kidnapper and Rapist Fathered Her Kids

When will white society take such horrible crimes seriously? When will such criminals be made to pay the ultimate price?

The man who allegedly abducted American schoolgirl Jaycee Lee Dugard almost two decades ago has admitted that he did a “disgusting thing” but went on to defend himself, saying the public would be surprised by the “heart-warming story”.

Convicted sex offender Phillip Garrido, 58, is being held on suspicion of various kidnapping and sex charges relating to the disappearance of Miss Dugard, who was aged 11 when she was snatched from her school bus stop in 1991.

Mr Garrido, gave a bizarre and sometimes incoherent phone interview to KCRA-TV from the El Dorado County jail.

According to investigators Mr Garrido allegedly raped Miss Dugard and fathered two children with her, the first when she was about 14. Along with Miss Dugard, who is now 29, the children, both girls now 11 and 15, were also kept hidden away from the world in the backyard compound of the Garrido house in California.

In the interview, Mr Garrido he said he had not admitted to the kidnapping and that he had turned his life around since the birth of his first daughter 15 years ago.

“Wait until you hear the story of what took place at this house,” Mr Garrido said.

“You are going to be completely impressed. It’s a disgusting thing that took place with me at the beginning. But I turned my life completely around and to be able to understand that, you have to start there.

“You’re going to find the most powerful story coming from the witness, the victim – you wait. If you take this a step at a time, you’re going to fall over backwards and in the end, you’re going to find the most powerful heart-warming story.”

His wife, Nancy Garrido, 54, has also been arrested, and authorities have alleged she was with Mr Garrido, who is on lifetime parole, during the kidnapping in South Lake Tahoe.

Miss Dugard, now aged 29, was reunited with her mother on Thursday after revealing during an interview with her kidnapper’s parole officer that she was the victim of one of California’s oldest unsolved crimes. It was her first known appearance in public since her abduction.

She disappeared when a man and a woman pulled her kicking and screaming into a car at a school bus stop just yards from her home in South Lake Tahoe.

After nearly two decades, the woman, who has undergone DNA tests and interviews, was last night in a motel meeting her natural mother for the first time since she disappeared.

But amid joy at the family reunion, painful details of the woman’s ordeal began to emerge.

Police saidMr Garrido, a 58-year-old registered sex offender and religious fanatic, and his wife have been arrested in connection with the case and were expected to be charged on Friday with rape, kidnapping, lascivious behaviour with a minor and other offences.

Police said they kept Miss Dugard and her two daughters aged 11 and 15, in a “backyard within a backyard”.

Neither Miss Dugard nor her children had ever been to school or visited a doctor. The three were in good health, but “living in a backyard for 18 years does take its toll”, said Fred Kollar, El Dorado County undersheriff.

The events that led to Miss Dugard’s identity being revealed began on Tuesday when Mr Garrido took the young girls with him to try and enter the campus of the University of California, Berkeley, to enquire how to stage a religious meeting.

Mr Garrido operated a blog titled “Voices Revealed”, and operated a home church to espouse his doctrine.

Part of one blog entry read: “The Creator has given me the ability to speak in the tongue of angels in order to provide a wake-up call that will in time include the salvation of the entire world.”

The interaction between him and the girls aroused the suspicion of police guards, who ran a background check and found he was still on parole for a 1971 conviction for child rape.

The next day he appeared for a meeting at the parole office with his wife, the two young girls and a woman called Allissa. “During the course of those discussions it became clear that Allissa was in fact Jaycee Dugard,” said Mr Kollar. The Garridos were arrested on the spot.

Dozens of investigators collected evidence at the couple’s cordoned off home on Walnut Avenue in Antioch, near San Francisco Bay, where Miss Dugard was held. Police believe she was taken there directly after her abduction.

Terry Probyn, Jaycee’s mother, was flying to northern California from her home in the south of the state, after first receiving a call on Wednesday from the FBI telling her that a woman had turned up at police station claiming to be her daughter.

Her stepfather, Carl Probyn, who witnessed her abduction, said Jaycee’s reappearance was “definitely a miracle”.

“You lose hope and you just want to recover something, you know?” he said, adding that the FBI had told Mrs Probyn that they “have Jaycee and the people that did this”.

Mother and daughter had first spoken on Wednesday afternoon, he said.

“Jaycee remembers everything,” he said. “They talked back and forth and she had the right answers to all my wife’s questions.”

Mrs Probyn and her 19-year-old daughter Shayna, Miss Dugard’s half-sister, took a flight early on Thursday to the town of Concord to be reunited.

“I’m feeling great! … It’s like winning the lotto. I’ve gone through hell,” Mr Probyn said, conceding that police and even members of the extended family had regarded him with suspicion for months after the kidnapping.

The Probyn’s marriage suffered under the strain and the couple eventually separated. Mrs Probyn lives in the Los Angeles suburb of Riverside, while Mr Probyn lives in Orange County.

The abduction took place on the morning of June 10, 1991. The blonde-haired, blue-eyed little girl was wearing a pink windbreaker, a white T-shirt, pink trousers and white trainers. Despite the detailed description, an extensive manhunt and numerous false sightings that raised the family’s hopes, she was never seen again.

Helen Boyer, a 78-year-old neighbour, described the Garridos as friendly.

“If I needed something, they would be the first I would call on,” said Mrs Boyer, who cared for Mr Garrido’s elderly mother.

“They were real good neighbours,” she said. “Real nice people.”

Ernie Allen, president of the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children, said : “The Jaycee Dugard case is huge. There are some people who assume that when a child disappears there is no hope.”

Clarence Mitchell, spokesman for Kate and Gerry McCann, told the Mirror that the news gave them hope that their missing daughter Madeleine, who disappeared in Portugal in 2007, could be found.

“They are extremely pleased. It further strengthens their determination never to stop looking for their missing daughter.”

WILLIAMS, Ore. — A 70-year-old armed man barricaded himself in a van and yelled threats from the window before he stripped naked and was arrested Sunday afternoon.

Raymond Lawrence Roberson, was telling people near the Provolt Store that he would blow up his van if approached. Roberson, 5′10″ and 145 pounds, was armed with a rifle.

Once police arrived, Williams Highway was shut down for about an hour in both directions and nearby residents were evacuated.

News10 was on scene and video shows Roberson stepping out of the van at one point, taking off his clothes, then getting back inside.

That’s when police tackled him and dragged him away from the parking lot before arresting him for menacing and disorderly conduct.

Police secured his rifle and found his threat to blow up his van was not credible.

Santa Barbara, CA – Brian Sawicki, a 33 year old Santa Barbara police officer, was taken into custody on Monday after he was allegedly seen masturbating on a public beach.

According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, two young teenage girls told park rangers they witnessed Sawicki committing a lewd act after he followed behind them on a trail just north of Goleta.

Investigators say the girls then stumbled onto Sawicki, who’s genitals were exposed as he was engaged in public masturbation.

The girls alerted authorities as Sawicki attempted to flee the scene. The suspect was arrested moments later after a brief pursuit on foot.

“I am shocked and deeply disappointed that a member of my department is the subject of this investigation, but I want to assure the public that the department is taking all necessary steps to ensure the public is protected and the investigation is completed in a fair and impartial manner,” said Santa Barbara Police Chief, Cam Sanchez.

Officer Sawicki has officially been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

He was detained at the Santa Barbra County Jail on charges of Annoying or Molesting a Child, Indecent Exposure, and Obstructing/Resisting a Peace Officer. Bond was set at $2,500.

There is no word yet indicating whether an impending misdemeanor conviction will cost Sawicki his badge or impair his ability to return to active duty once the case has reached its completion.

Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi urged to seek sex addiction treatment

Silvio Berlusconi has been told to seek treatment for sex addiction – by members of his own entourage.

A biography of the Italian prime minister’s wife, 53-year-old Veronica Lario, notes how the billionaire has come under pressure over a long-running sex scandal.

The book’s author, Maria Latella, claims the couple have been urged to formally separate but for Lario ‘return to her husband’s side to help him find himself again… also with a stay in one of those clinics specialising in curing sex dependence’.

A 43-year-old Sheboygan man was charged Monday after allegedly standing naked in the door of his apartment on several occasions.

David C. Meyer, of 1427 N. 10th St., Apt. 301, is charged with misdemeanor lewd and lascivious behavior, which carries a maximum penalty of nine months in jail.

According to a criminal complaint: Another apartment resident called police about 9 p.m. Sunday after spotting Meyer standing naked in the doorway and touching himself. The neighbor said Meyer had done this in the past and been warned not to do so by the apartment manager.

Meyer, who smelled of alcohol, was wearing shorts but nothing else when officers arrived. He denied standing naked in the doorway, stating he was wearing underwear while standing in the open doorway.

Meyer is on probation for an August 2007 felony stalking offense in which he repeatedly drove past two 12-year-old girls because he was attracted to them, according to Sheboygan Press archives. Meyer was sentenced to 90 days in jail for the offense but was allowed to serve the time on electronic monitoring in order to get in-patient mental health treatment.

That sentence concluded Aug. 3.

Meyer was convicted in 1997 of four misdemeanor counts of exposing genitals to a child.

Great White Men in History : Thomas Jefferson, the Face of a Rapist

“the good ol’ days”

Americans look at Thomas Jefferson and see the one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence,  a statesman, a former president and one of the founding fathers,’ however; when I look at him, I see the face of a rapist. When Jefferson first met Sally Hemings, his slave through inheritance, she would have been no more than 15 or 16 years old.  It is rumoured that when she returned from France with him, that she was already pregnant with his child.

It was widely suggested within his own life time that he kept a light skinned negro concubine.  You see, Sally was 3/4 white and was described as a handsome light skinned woman with long dark hair in one of the few known descriptions of her.   Jefferson’s children through his wife Martha Wayles Skelton Jefferson, denied the relationship, however; Jefferson himself did not publicly answer the rumours.  The only slaves that Jefferson freed were the children of Hemings and he petitioned the government for two of her sons to stay in Virginia after emancipation. At the time, a slave had to leave the state within one year of manumission.

There are those that to this day vehemently deny that Jefferson fathered Sally’s six children despite the DNA evidence.  It is my belief that such denial is not based in the simple fact that it would prove that he was a lecher but that he chose a woman of color.

On the other side of the coin are those that believe the oral, written, and DNA evidence.   They often refer to the relationship as an illicit love affair, citing that Sally had the opportunity to stay in France where slavery was outlawed, rather than returning to the United States with Jefferson.  Assuming that Sally had chosen to stay in Paris, what would an uneducated 1/4 negresss do with no money to support herself and her unborn child?  She chose to return because Jefferson gave his word that he would free her children and offer her a life of comfort relative to the other slaves at Monticello.

Jefferson may have felt love for Sally but how can we possibly term this relationship a love affair?  Once they returned to the US, he had the power to have her flogged, or even put to death.  At anytime he could have sold her children away from her.  For a relationship based in love to exist, both parties must be equal and due to the power differential between Jefferson and Hemings what occurred cannot be described as anything other than rape.  Some have even had the nerve to refer to Hemings as the first Black first lady of the United States as a way of further legitimizing the relationship between the two, however; to sanitize it and call it anything other than rape, is to once again violate her spirit.

Jefferson was not the first or last White man to sneak into the slave cabins.  One of the reasons White women argued so vehemently for the abolition of slavery, was to save the poor overwhelmed White man from the negro temptress.  It was not uncommon to see near white or light skinned children resembling the master working on the plantation. The Black woman was and still is blamed for her own rape.  Victim blaming began with women of color and continues to this day.

No matter how many times Black women have angrily contested the use of the term love affair between Hemings and Jefferson, it continues to be the most common descriptor by those who believe the DNA evidence.  This assumes that Hemings actually had the power to deny Jefferson sexual access, or that Jefferson had a right to Sally’s body for the purposes of sexual gratification.  Both suppositions are erroneous.  Due to the patriarchal nature of gender relations, many men believe that they exist with the right to access  women’s bodies and that is specifically grounded in the power imbalance between the genders.  If we can acknowledge in a modern context that a power imbalance exists between men and women, how much more likely is it that this same imbalance existed between Jefferson and Hemings?

Some may look back at Jefferson and simply claim that he was a man of his time and that he should not be judged outside of historical context, however; in my mind a rapist is a rapist.   What he did at the time may not have been considered a violation due to current race and gender relations, however; today we can correctly name his actions.  Sally did not have the power to consent to his advances even if she was so inclined; this simple fact must be affirmed not only to honour the memory of Hemings but to change the social understanding that Black women’s bodies are unrapeable.  We are not naturally licentious whores who exist to fulfill the sexual fantasies of depraved racist men.  We are women that must be accorded the right to control over our bodies without punishment for any decisions we make in that regard.

Major mobile phone companies are being urged to help cut the number of prostitutes working in London.

Kit Malthouse, London’s deputy mayor for policing, wants the numbers on sex calling cards found in telephone boxes blocked as soon as they are identified.

He said mobile phone numbers were valuable to those behind the sex industry and should be cut off.

The deputy mayor has invited Vodafone, Orange, O2, 3, Virgin and T-Mobile to meet him.

Mr Malthouse said: “If you are an American tourist and if you walk into a telephone box you would think it was a sex shop.

“We want a streamlined, agreed process for barring these numbers because they become very valuable for a number of reasons.

‘Repeat business’

“Firstly, they become a source of repeat business. Plus the numbers operate as a kind of switchboard, there will be several poor girls operating behind the number.

“Hopefully it will become dangerous to advertise your number in these boxes because you may lose your business.

“If you are a trafficker or pimp all you are interested in is money, you are certainly not interested in the welfare of the women or young girls.”

Chief executives of all the major mobile operators have been invited to a meeting at City Hall in October.

Mr Malthouse has campaigned to ban sex service calling cards since 2000 when he worked as a councillor in Westminster.

At one point, campaigners stood in Oxford Street handing out calling cards printed with details of mobile phone company bosses.

Placing prostitute calling cards in phone boxes is an offence but those leaving cards have to be caught in the act, making the crime difficult to police.

A 46-year-old man was indicted Thursday by a Bernalillo County grand jury for performing simulated sex acts on his car in an Albuquerque parking lot.

Patrick Davis, spokesman for the district attorney’s office, reports that Danny Brawner was seen by an off-duty police officer and the officer’s 10 year old son performing the simulated sex acts in a grocery store parking lot near Coors and Central in late July.

“Witnesses, including two children, told police that their attention was drawn to Brawner because his pants were around his ankles, he was swinging his arms in the air and shouting while he was ‘humping’ the trunk of his car,” Davis reports in a press release.

When officers arrived, Brawner had passed out next to the vehicle and appeared to be intoxicated, according to Davis.

Brawner was indicted on two felony counts of aggravated indecent exposure, according to Davis, who says he could face four years in jail and mandatory counseling if convicted.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) – Clackamas County Sheriff’s Patrol personnel arrested the subject authorities dubbed as the “shoe fetish man”; who is believed responsible for a series of related crimes involving female shoe shoppers – occurring in both Clackamas County and Medford, Oregon.

46-year old Steven George Bronson was arrested Wednesday, August 05, 2009 at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Detective Jim Strovink, Spokesman for the Clackamas Sheriff’s Office, says that on July 16th & 17th, Clackamas County Sheriff’s first received reports of a male subject approaching women in businesses and asking these unsuspecting females to place a shoe from the store display onto their foot for a personal opinion.

“The reported ploy was to have the targeted female place the shoe on her foot – with his assistance – at which time the suspect would begin to moan; while rubbing their feet and legs, even to the extent of licking the upper-thigh of one startled and enraged female victim.”

Strovink says that during that particular incident, a female victim began to deliberately draw a lot of attention to her and the suspect by raising her voice loudly.

“That caused the suspect to flee the store. This brave victim immediately alerted a Target Store, Loss Prevention Agent as to this criminal incident; which resulted in the suspect’s store surveillance image being circulated in a Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office bulletin.”

He continued by saying, “Most significantly, the media ran with this unusual and disconcerting story featuring the surveillance images of the suspect and alerted the public to this criminal activity.”

On Friday, July 31st, Strovink says Clackamas County Sheriff’s were contacted by Medford Police, declaring the same type of criminal activity was now occurring in the Medford area; with at least four female victims who were reporting the same suspect description and criminal conduct.

Strovink says they learned that, “One of these Medford victims is described to be only 15-years old.” He continued, “Again, over the August 1st weekend additional reports were received by Clackamas County Sheriff’s, revealing the same criminal activity had occurred at a Ross Dress for Less, on SE 82nd Avenue and again at the Target Store, on SE Sunnyside Road, in Happy Valley.”

At 4:47 p.m. an on the alert female citizen called the Clackamas County Emergency Dispatch Center, telling dispatchers she recognized a male subject who had been featured on news broadcasts saying, “that had something to do with this man approaching woman in stores”.

“This keen-eyed citizen told dispatchers this subject just exited a beige colored vehicle displaying California license plate number 3EBN251.”

Strovink says this citizen continued to provide dispatchers with a very accurate description of the subject she observed presently walking from his vehicle parked in the area of the Willamette Falls Urgent Care Center / Woman’s Health Center; located at 9775 SE Sunnyside Road, in Happy Valley. Dispatched Clackamas County Sheriff’s Patrol deputies arrived in the area in time to observe this described male subject entering the Willamette Falls Urgent Care Center.

The deputies immediately surrounded the building and secured all available exits.

At 5:34 p.m. Clackamas County Deputies made contact with this subject inside the Care Center, and with probable cause to arrest, he was taken into custody without incident.

46-year old Steven George Bronson has no confirmed current address.

Strovink says it has also been discovered Steven Bronson has an established criminal history in the State of California, Nevada and Washington.

Bronson was transported from the scene to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, in Oregon City.

At that time, Bronson was interviewed by detectives and then lodged in the Clackamas County Jail for 2 counts of third-degree Sex Abuse.

Steven Bronson was arraigned on this criminal matter in the Clackamas County Circuit Court Today, August 6th, 2009, at 3:00 p.m.

The vehicle Bronson was observed operating and registered in his name is described as a beige colored, 1993, Mercury, 4-door sedan, with California license number 3EBN251.

This automobile was towed from the scene by Clackamas County Sheriff’s Detectives for an anticipated forensic search of this vehicle.

Salem, Oregon – Randall Joseph Giesbers, a 47-year-old Salem man, was arrested Monday when he was caught wearing women’s underwear in a neighbor’s garage.

Lt. Sheila Lorance of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office states police were responding to a report of a burglary in progress from the home’s resident, an unnamed 31-year-old woman, who advised them there was a man in her garage wearing ladies’ undergarments.

Lorance went on to say that when authorities arrived at the scene the woman’s boyfriend was holding the suspect down.

The boyfriend told police that his girlfriend identified the clothes the man wore as hers and that they had been stolen from her garage.

Deputies report that when they subsequently went to the Giesbers’ home across the street, they discovered several more bags filled with women’s clothes, underwear, shoes, and accessories.

The woman also identified some of these items as hers, and went on to say that she had noticed clothes missing from her garage several months ago. Deputies also found a stash of illegal fireworks, which were seized by Oregon State Police.

Randall was booked in to Marion County Jail on charges of theft, 10 counts of burglary, 10 counts of criminal trespassing, and 42 counts of possessing illegal fireworks.

White man tricks woman into changing his diapers for 3 months

Melbourne, Florida – Janet Schulte, a Melbourne, Florida woman has filed a complaint with Florida authorities claiming she was duped into changing an adult male’s diapers for three months believing he was mentally disabled. She later discovered he didn’t have a disability at all.

“I consented to change his diapers, but I legitimately thought this man needed help,” said Schulte. “How can that not be a crime for him to come into my house and expose himself?”

According to Schulte, the ruse began when she placed an ad on Craigslist offering child care services. That’s when a man reportedly called, asking if she knew any special needs caregivers.

Schulte says the man explained that her brother had been injured in a car accident and suffered from physical and mental disabilities – including weak arms, bladder control problems and the mental capacity of a child. He then reportedly offered her $600 a month to care for his brother.

Schulte told the Brevard County Sheriff’s office she cared for the man for three months – changing his diapers, massaging his head and bottle feeding him at her home.

She later discovered the man and brother were the same person after her husband became suspicious and followed him away from their home where he was seen getting into a vehicle and driving away.

Schulte took her complaint to Brevard County deputies who took the case to prosecutors. Prosecutors refused to pursue charges, saying Schulte was paid for services she agreed to provide.

When deputies questioned the man, he reportedly admitted to the scam but claimed he was suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

Florida Man blames Cat for the kiddie porn on his computer

Jensen Beach, FL – Keith Griffin, a 48-year-old Jensen Beach man, was arrested Wednesday after he blamed his cat for downloading child pornography to his computer.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Griffin was arrested at his home after detectives discovered over 1,000 images on his computer, many of which depicted child pornography.

Investigators say Griffin told them that his cat would jump on the keyboard while he was attempting to download music.

When he returned to the computer he claimed to have found “strange things” had been downloaded – presumably by his frisky feline.

Police didn’t buy his story. Griffin was booked in to Marin County Jail on 10 counts of possession of child pornography and is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

Jacksonville, NC  – Leslie Denise Nichols, a 39-year-old Camp Lejuene family readiness officer was arrested last week on accusations she forced a preteen to engage in sex acts.

According to Jacksonville Police, Nichols instructed a 9-year-old child to penetrate her with an “electronic stimulus device.” She then allegedly told the preteen to practice giving her oral sex.

Officers pointed out that Nichols was employed as a civilian family support counselor – not a U.S. Marine. She was terminated on Aug. 4th.

Nichols was booked into the Onslow County Jail on five counts of felony child abuse, five counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of first-degree sex offense. Her bond was set at $300,000 with a next appearance set for Aug. 20.

43 year old White man (who lives at home with his mother) lures and tries to rape neighbor’s daughter

Molest and rape thy neighbor?

Sharonville, Ohio – Timothy Armstrong, a 43-year-old Ohio man was arrested after he allegedly lured a 7-year-old girl into his home and then raped her.

According to Sharonville police, Armstrong lured a 7-year-old girl into the home he shares with his mommy on the pretense that she could play with his “pet”.

Investigators say the girl wandered into his home, where he then ordered her to disrobe, watch a pornographic movie and then perform oral sex on him.

He then allegedly tried to rape her until he was interrupted by a knock on the door.

When the girl’s mother came to the front door looking for her daughter, Armstrong ordered her to be quiet while he refused to answer the door, according to court documents.

When the girl’s father came to the door, Armstrong reportedly told him that he might have seen the girl playing in the backyard with a dog.

“So he went around the back only to see Mr. Armstrong letting her out of the back door of the house,” said Lt. John Cook of the Sharonville Police Department.

Armstrong was booked into jail on charges of kidnapping and rap of a child under 13. Bail was set at $2 million.

Woman denies setting British man on fire

A Greek woman has appeared in court accused of setting fire to a British tourist in Crete after he allegedly groped her in a bar.

Stuart Feltham, 23, from Swindon, is recovering from second-degree chest and stomach burns in a private clinic.

Maria Fanoudaki, a 26-year-old student, said she poured a drink over Mr Feltham after he made inappropriate advances, but denied setting fire to him.

She faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison if she is convicted.

The trial in the town of Iraklion in northern Crete was adjourned until Monday.

Ms Fanoudaki’s lawyer Nikos Maniadakis said: “He fondled my client’s breasts and buttocks and she poured her drink over him and left.

“Shortly afterward she heard cries and saw her friends trying to extinguish him.”

The story has made national headlines in Greece, where some have hailed the woman as a heroine.

Mr Feltham’s parents have insisted reports their son sexually harassed the woman were “absolute nonsense”.

The stated purpose of the project – which is operating in 14 primary schools – is to stop bullying and prejudice aimed at homosexuals.

However, at a seminar at Exeter University tomorrow, supporters of the group will go beyond the anti-bullying agenda and discuss ‘pleasure and desire in educational contexts’.

A document prepared for the seminar and couched in convoluted academic jargon says: ‘The team is concerned to interrogate the desexualisation of children’s bodies, the negation of pleasure and desire in educational contexts, and the tendency to shy away from discussion of (sexual) bodily activity in No Outsiders project work.

‘The danger of accusations of the corruption of innocent children has led team members to make repeated claims that this project is not about sex or desire – and that it is therefore not about bodies.

‘Yet, at a very significant level, that is exactly what it is about and to deny this may have significant negative implications for children and young people.’

No Outsiders is led by researchers from Sunderland University and also involves academics at the Institute of Education and Exeter University. Books, puppet shows and plays are used to teach children about same-sex relationships.

During the project, the seminar paper says, its members have ‘challenged each other to go beyond imagined possibilities into queer practice’.

The seminar will ‘question the taken-for-granted of the supposedly sexless, bodiless and desire-less primary classroom’ and examine ‘the place of the research team members’ own bodies, desires and pleasures in this research’.

The discussions provoked a furious reaction from critics of the homosexual rights agenda. Simon Calvert of the Christian Institute said: ‘When an adult who is working in a primary school suggests that children should explore their sexuality, that should result in a complaint to the police.’

Patricia Morgan, author of studies of family life and gay adoption, said: ‘The proposal is that primary school classrooms should be turned into gay saunas. This is about homosexual practice in junior schools. The idiots who repealed Section 28 should consider that this is where it has got them.’

Project leader Dr Elizabeth Atkinson said the seminar had no connection with No Outsiders work in classrooms. ‘The seminar is part of a long-standing academic debate and has nothing to do with schools,’ she said. ‘It has no connection with sex education.’

Section 28, the law which banned the promotion of homosexuality in state schools, was repealed five years ago. Current guidance on sex education says it should not promote sexual orientation or sexual activity.

LONGMONT, Colo. — A 53-year-old Longmont woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion that she drugged a male friend during a backyard barbecue and then raped him, police said.

Janice Lynette McCarl was booked into the Boulder County Jail at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault, a class-three felony.

Longmont police Cmdr. Tim Lewis said reports of female-on-male rape are very rare; one victims’ advocate said this was only the second local instance she could remember happening within the past decade.

Lewis said McCarl is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 50-year-old male friend.

“She allegedly took unwanted advantage of this friend in a manner he did not want or approve of,” Lewis said.

The man told detectives the incident happened on Nov. 9 at his Longmont house and involved “unwanted penetration.”

A police report released Thursday details the graphic allegations.

The man reported that he was at a barbecue at his home with McCarl.

He said he felt “funny” after some drinks — which he later told investigators were drugged — and went inside and passed out.

About a half-hour later, he claims, he awoke with a painful sensation. He said he remembered waking up intermittently with the woman’s “hands in him.”

He said he could not fully wake up or move, and remembered the woman telling him, “It is OK, go back to sleep.”

He told detectives he recalled waking up the next morning to find the woman sleeping next to him — her shirt covered in blood and lotion, and a bottle of Lubriderm on the table near the woman.

In response to his questions about what happened, McCarl allegedly laughed and said, “What did I do, kill somebody?”

They had coffee together and she left, according to the report.

The man said he spoke with the woman later on and she admitted to drugging him that night, but would not say what she used.

“She apologized to him and he told her that was mean, nasty and disgusting,” police wrote in the report.

Detectives have been investigating the report since then, police said, and arrested McCarl on a warrant.

Lewis, the Longmont commander, said McCarl and the man had a consensual intimate relationship prior to the incident.

On Thursday, a Boulder County judge set McCarl’s bond at $10,000. He denied her request to reduce bond.

According to records with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, McCarl has two arrests in 2000 for using fraud to obtain dangerous drugs and possession of dangerous drugs.

Janine D’Anniballe, the executive director of Boulder’s Moving to End Sexual Assault, said the Longmont case is only the second time in her 10 years with the agency that she’s heard of such an incident.

“These types of cases, where there is an adult woman with an adult male, are very rare,” she said. “Certainly, women can be offenders, but usually their victims are children or young adults. Men can be victims, but usually as children or young adults or with male perpetrators.”

D’Anniballe said there is often a stigma associated with anyone who is a victim of a sexual assault, but that effect is magnified for male victims.

“There’s this idea that, because he’s a man, he should have just enjoyed it,” she said. “In this case, that is a gross misstatement.

“I think what he did by coming forward is extremely brave. It is no less a rape than any other kind of rape. We need to be supportive and understanding.”

An hour later Solicitor Trey Gowdy called to say that the charges will be upgraded to the “most serious animal cruelty charges they have on the books.”

The dog’s owner Sylvia Jones says, “At first when it happened, I couldn’t eat or sleep every morning I’m waking up thinking Princess is there but she’s not.

Princess’s little dog house is empty now. Sylvia Jones says she died of internal bleeding this past Sunday because of the rape. “The vet told me she had a little blood in her urine and that she was bleeding inside.”

Sylvia says she and her husband would not have believed Cory Williamson raped Princess exactly two weeks to the day she died had they not seen it with their own eyes.

“When I got here we were laying on the deck looking at him and he had his pants down and he was doing sexual activity with the dog like a man would do to a woman.”

The Jones family says Princess wouldn’t eat or play anymore after the attack. “She (Princess) couldn’t even sit down, her bottom was swollen sore.”

Sylvia says she knows Princess was just a dog, but she wants people to know that Princess was also a part of her family. A family that now has been forever changed. “She looked so pitiful. It’s sad, there was nothing I could do for her.”

Neighbors worry that if Williamson is accused of raping a dog and molesting two girls in the same neighborhood, who knows what might happen next.

Neighbor Bill Johnson says, “As a community we shouldn’t have to watch our kids every second they’re playing. We want him out of this neighborhood.”

The Solicitor’s office says it wants to make sure Williamson is out of this neighborhood while he’s awaiting trial on the molestation and dog rape charges so they are requesting that his bond be revoked. Williamson’s bond hearing will be held next Friday.”

TAVARES – A 35-year-old man has been arrested on allegations he sexually molested a now-10-year-old girl, including at least once in front of other children.

James Forrest McDonald, of Leesburg, was charged with three counts of sexual battery, two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition, lewd and lascivious molestation and distribution of harmful material to someone under the age of 18.

He is being held without bail in the Lake County jail on the battery charge.

According to an arrest affidavit, McDonald was accused of raping the child on a number of occasions, showing her pornographic movies and, on one occasion, drawing black dots on her pubic area in front of other children to pretend she had hair there.

The charges were based on the girl’s allegations, and the affidavit adds that a physical examination confirmed her accusations.

The affidavit adds the child’s mother has not been charged and the Department of Children and Family returned the girl to her mother, although sheriff’s detectives said there was reason to believe she knew about the abuse and failed to protect the child.

The girl apparently told investigators her mother told her the sex acts were just a dream. The mother told investigators she didn’t know whether to believe her child. Sheriff’s deputies added they feared the mother likely wouldn’t protect the child if McDonald is released.

According to the affidavit, McDonald denied the allegations, telling the detectives that the girl must have learned some of the things she accused him of in her sex education classes at school.

The detective responded that some of the things the victim mentioned aren’t covered in sex education classes.

Muncie, Ind. – James C. Storie, a 33-year-old Indiana man was arrested Tuesday after switching seats with a 12-year-old girl to avoid a drunk driving arrest in his car.

According to the Deleware County Sheriff’s Office, Storie was driving his Chevy minivan when he caught the attention of a sheriff’s deputy who was passing by him.

When Storie noticed the deputy was turning around to pursue him, he quickly switched seats with a 12-year-old passenger, according to Dep. Bill Curtis of the Delaware Sheriff’s Office.

After the deputy stopped the vehicle, he found the 12-year-old behind the wheel along with Storie and two other pre-teen passengers. An odor of alcohol prompted the deputy to administer a breath test to Storie.

Storie reportedly blew a 0.17 bac (twice the Indiana legal limit of 0.08) and was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. He also had numerous warrants for his arrest in regards to unpaid child support.

Storie was booked into the Delaware County Jail on charges of neglect of a dependent, DUI and driving while suspended.

Storie has prior convictions for resisting arrest, false informing, DUI, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and leaving the scene of an accident.

He failed to turn up for his interview with Carlisle Cleaning – who are contracted by the Tesco store in Dumfries.

Local Labour MSP Elaine Murray said it was “suspicious” that Carruthers – who was freed from prison last September – had applied for a post working with women.

Another 38 women later claimed he had raped, attacked or harassed them during his 20-year career.

But Carruthers refused to take part in prison sex offender rehabilitation programmes, admit his guilt or show any remorse.

His sentence was cut by 12 months on appeal – and he served just seven years before his release. He was placed on the sex offenders’ register for life.

At the time The Scottish Sun revealed how police warned his victims he may strike again.

Support group Rape Crisis Scotland last night warned he is STILL a danger. A spokesman said: “Safety of women should always be paramount in the employment of convicted sex offenders.

“As a rapist who has shown no remorse Adam Carruthers is clearly a danger.”

Carruthers was put under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements on his release – where police, social workers and the prison service manage offenders in the community.

A MAPPA spokesman declined to comment.

A Tesco spokesman confirmed: “We use an agency to do cleaning.” Nobody at Carlisle Cleaning was available for comment.

Carruthers applied for the job as he awaits an appeal to get his full police pension reinstated. It was cut 65 per cent on his conviction.

After court reporter Adrianne Fuller noticed stains on her chair four times over the past two months investigators installed a camera in her office.According to the investigation report, video recorded Wednesday showed Thompson, a maintenance worker at the building, urinating in her chair.

He’s charged with two felony counts of attempted battery by bodily waste. Each charge carries a sentence of six months to three years in prison.

Billips evoked a tear of sympathy when she explained that her husband was her pimp and had forced her become a hooker to support his drug habit. Police soon got over it and took her to jail anyway.

Bowling, however was not so lucky. Cops say this is her third go-round which earns her a nifty felony charge for prostitution. Rates for Bowling began at $40 and jump to $125 if you want her to actually do something.

Hamilton, Ohio – Yes, the Vice units in Ohio have been busy this month as police nabbed four women during a July 1st prostitution sting.

Carol Cope and Tanya Wilson was arrested for soliciting prostitution while Rebecca Zornes and Karen Woods were caught “loitering” in an alleged attempt to engage in prostitution.

Zornes apparently failed to show up for her arraignment – so cops were nice enough to give her ride to jail/court. Both women were also charged with drug related offenses.

Police say James Edward Simpson, 40, was a longtime friend of the family and he watched the girl for two years while her mother worked third shift.

The girl and her mother reported the alleged abuse last week after the girl told a neighbor.

Simpson is charged with 10 counts of rape and is being held at the Hamilton County Jail with no bond.

GREENSBURG, Ind. (Daily News) – Adam D. Goff, 22 of Greensburg, allegedly used his job as a magazine salesman to make his way into the home of a 13-year-old girl and sexually molest her, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Decatur Circuit Court Monday.

Goff was arrested on Saturday, July 11 and initially booked at the Decatur County Jail on charges of sexual battery. His charges were later changed to one count each of child molesting and child solicitation.

At 3:17 p.m. on Saturday, the Greensburg Police Department received a report of an incident that occurred at the residence of the 13-year-old victim, according to the police report. Officers were informed by one of the victim’s parents that a magazine salesman had touched and tried to kiss the girl and then left the area. The GPD acquired a description of a white male wearing a baggy gray shirt and shorts. Officers responded to the victim’s address and checked the area for the suspect. There they learned that the female and her 12-year-old brother were home alone when the alleged incident took place.

The children told the police that they had been home watching television when Goff knocked on the door trying to sell magazines to pay for college. According to the police report, Goff asked if their parents were home before asking if there was someone more than 18 years old in the house. The kids reported that Goff asked if he could flirt with the female, and told the boy to leave the room, offering money if he would do so, according to the police report.

The boy walked out of view of the man, but remained nearby so he could see what was happening. Both children reported that the man led the 13-year-old girl into the hallway where he began touching her, including her breasts and genitals. They stated he kissed her hand and cheek and attempted to kiss her several times. The boy told Goff he received a text from his mother that no one was to be at the house while she was not home, and Goff reportedly left.

When two GPD officers arrived, the kids gave them the description, including information on messy hair and a missing front tooth. Fifty-eight minutes after the call was received, the GPD located a person of interest in the area of North Park. Despite wearing black pants, which did not match the initial description, the officer kept observing him. According to the police report, the man was picked up by a Jeep Cherokee. Following them, the officer noticed two individuals in the front and four individuals in the backseat, which left one without a seat belt.

The officer pulled the Jeep over near Carver and Sixth streets. The occupants explained that they were part of a magazine sales crew, and the officer noticed a male subject in the backseat that matched the description, including the tan shorts, gray shirt, messy hair and missing tooth.

Goff reported that he had been in the area selling magazines, and initially stated that he had not had any contact with juveniles. He then stated that he had spoken with a young girl but upon learning that she was not 18, he left the area, according to the police report. Goff said that he had not touched the girl and had only been there for five minutes, after being told he was going to be detained for investigation. Though he wasn’t under arrest, Goff was handcuffed and read his Miranda rights.

Goff was taken to the victim’s residence where he was positively identified.

At the GPD, Goff said he was a door-to-door salesman, according to the police report. He stated that he is a homosexual and is not attracted to females. Regarding the alleged incident, Goff said he did speak with the victim, but upon learning she was not 18 and could not purchase magazines, he thanked her for her time and tried to leave. Goff reported that the 13-year-old victim told him to come back later, and later said he showed the girl the magazines before leaving.

The police report states that Goff went into great detail regarding all of the people he tried to sell magazines to, even providing specific times. The officer performing the investigation noted that Goff had no watch or phone or other type of device to verify the time while he was working.

During the interview, Goff became agitated, screaming obscenities but never requested that the interview end. The officer attempted to conclude the interview before being called back in by Goff.

According to the police report, Goff then stated the 13-year-old female was pulling on the papers he was trying to show her while the 12 year old male was nearby. Goff said that he tried to sell the magazines to the girl, and initially lied about it because he was afraid of his boss finding out. Goff reported that, as part of his sales pitch, he was flirting with the girl, and she flirted back, telling him she did not have a boyfriend. According to Goff, the female told him she was actually 15, and when he saw she was getting the wrong idea, he left. Goff said he never tried to touch or kiss the girl, and hat the girl was probably upset because he rejected her, the police report states. Eventually, he told police he kissed her hand. Following the interview, Goff was arrested and charged with child solicitation and child molestation. Child molestation is a Class B Felony. If convicted, Goff could face up to 20 years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000. Child solicitation is a Class D Felony, which can result in a prison sentence of up to three years and a fine of up to $10,000.

White man jailed after breaking into house, and raping the owner’s dog

Farmington, W. Va. – Christopher Bagwell, a 26-year-old West Virginia man was arrested after breaking into home, having sex with home owner’s dog.

Bagwell allegedly broke into a home in the area and raped an Australian shepherd/border collie mix dog. The owner was away at work, according to a witness’ report.

The witness, Sierra Hayhurst, arrived at the house on the afternoon of July 8th to return items she had borrowed from the owner. She claims that while standing in the doorway, she spotted the suspect having sexual intercourse with the male dog, which “was making an awful sound.”

She then shouted at Bagwell, calling him a “sick bastard” until he pulled up his pants and dismounted the dog. He then started toward her in a threatening manner, according to police reports.

“His pants were down around his ankles and the dog was making an awful sound,” stated the witness in the arrest complaint.

At this point, Hayhurst called Farmington Police, who soon arrived and promptly arrested Bagwell on felony burglarly and animal cruelty charges. Police allege Bagwell also damaged property in the home while looting it for an undisclosed reason.

Bagwell was booked into the local jail but quickly bonded out.

Marsiano says she uses a herbal brand popular in the Philippines as a facial whitener. It is applied to the dark pigmentation around women’s rectums as well as to their vaginal areas. Marsiano says the product does not damage the skin and has “rejuvenating” properties.

But another Sydney beautician, asked about her anal lightening equipment, produces a completely different product altogether. It’s a cream that clearly states it is designed to be used on hair. This beautician has treated sex workers and strippers for years, but says mainstream demand has risen sharply over the past six months. She acknowledges that her long-term clients (many of whom come in for treatments every six weeks) suffer serious skin problems. “I explain that it will give them eczema and so on, but they want it anyway,” she says.

‘Unbelievable’: An NHS leaflet is telling school pupils they have a ‘right’ to an enjoyable sex life and that ‘an orgasm a day keeps the doctor away’

The NHS is telling school pupils they have a ‘right’ to an enjoyable sex life and that it is good for their health.

A Health Service leaflet says experts concentrate too much on the need for safe sex and loving relationships, and not enough on the pleasure it can bring.

But family campaigners last night condemned the guidance, saying it encouraged underage sex and could increase rates of sexually-transmitted diseases.

Under the heading ‘an orgasm a day keeps the doctor away’, the leaflet says: ‘Health promotion experts advocate five portions of fruit and veg a day and 30 minutes physical activity three times a week. What about sex or masturbation twice a week?’

The advice, which also claims regular sex is good for cardiovascular health, has been circulated to parents, teachers and youth workers.

It came to light just a week after it emerged that teenagers who took part in a £6million Government initiative to reduce teenage pregnancies were more than twice as likely to fall pregnant as other girls.

The scheme tried to persuade girls not to get pregnant by handing out condoms and teaching them about sex.

The NHS leaflet has been drawn up by Sheffield primary care trust and is entitled Pleasure.

Its author, Steve Slack, director of the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health at NHS Sheffield, defended it by saying the advice could encourage young people to delay losing their virginity until they are sure they will enjoy the experience.

He added that as long as teenagers are fully informed about sex and making decisions free of peer pressure as part of a caring relationship, they have as much right as an adult to a good sex life.

‘It is unbelievable that this is being sent to schools’, he said.

‘I’d like to know what scientific evidence there is to back this up. There are an awful lot of overpaid and under-occupied health promotion officers around who are obsessed with sex.’

He added that inciting underage sex was ‘nothing less than encouraging child abuse’.

‘If the NHS wants to promote a healthy heart, as it says it does in this leaflet, it should put the money into reducing smoking and alcohol,’ he said. ‘Underage sex is as dangerous as underage drink and usually leads to sexual ill-health.’

About 40,000 teenagers become pregnant every year in the UK – the highest level in western Europe. More than half end in abortion.

Tulsa, OK – John C. Gisler, a 41-year-old Teacher at Whitney Middle School in Tulsa Oklahoma has been charged with raping a teenage boy.

Gisler was brought into Tulsa County District Court on Monday on charges of lewd molestation, forcible, sodomy and second-degree rape, with the alleged victim a boy he was mentoring through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Although the assault reportedly occurred in January 2006, the victim did not come forward until June 15th, according to Tulsa Police Officer Leland Ashley.

Ashley told the media that the boy claims Gisler molested him for almost three years. Among the boy’s claims: that their sexual relationship began when Gisler offered to pay the boy to allow Gisler to watch him masturbate. Investigators say that, over time, Gisler stopped paying and simply had his way with the teenager, forcing him to engage in oral and anal sex.

Detectives filed a police affidavit with the court, claiming that they have obtained a recording of a phone call between Gisler and his alleged victim. On the tape, according to the report, Gisler “made admissions of guilt, specifically apologizing to the victim for ‘hurting him sexually.’ The defendant threatened suicide and begged the victim not to tell anyone.

“The defendant stated that if the victim disclosed the abuse he would lose his job and go to jail for a long time.”

Gisler was arraigned Monday on charges of lewd molestation, forcible, sodomy and second-degree rape.

Following Gisler’s arrest, he was booked into the Tulsa Jail, but he has since been released on bond and awaits trial.

Powell, TN  – Randall Thomas Hollifield, a 45-year-old youth minister from Powell, Tennessee has been arrested for molesting a young boy.

Hollifield was charged last Tuesday with two counts of rape of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor in the case of a boy, described by police as “younger than 13,” who claims Hollifield molested him during Sunday School.

According Knoxville Police, Hollifield works for Match Maker Incorporated and serves as a volunteer youth minister at the New Beverly Baptist Church in Knoxville.

His arrest affidavit states that Hollifield gave the victim oral sex and then forced him to return the act.

Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Martha Dooley stated that Knoxville deputies then obtained a search warrant suspect’s home, where investigators found over 3,000 images of child pornography on the defendant’s computer. Police stated that more than 100 of the photos feature young boys having sex with each other.

Hollifield is being held at undisclosed county lockup in lieu of a $125,000 bond.

Hundreds of Yemen onlookers crowd the streets, waiting for the public execution of a man who  raped an 11-year-old boy. The public execution is carried out in all it’s graphic detail while the crowd taunts and cheers along the roadway.

With a doctor standing by, al-Raghwah was allowed to say a short prayer before his hands are bound behind him and he is laid face down on a red cloth. Within minutes, the executioner straddles the convict, points his rifle, and delivers Yemen justice to the man’s head. He is then declared dead, wrapped in the red blanket and removed for burial.

According to Yemen authorities, the alleged victim came into al-Raghwah’s barber shop last December and never left alive. al-Raghwah allegedly raped the boy and then cut his body into pieces.

After the barber “reportedly” admitted to the crime, a Yemeni court sentenced him to death. The execution was carried out on Monday. Images of the gruesome execution were released shortly thereafter.

According to sharia law, relatives of an alleged murder victim have the right to pardon the offender’s crime in exchange for compensation in some cases. Here, it’s apparent the alleged victim’s family were in no such mood. They opted for the bullet.

A devious conman who modelled himself on Matt Damon’s high-living killer in The Talented Mr Ripley was today jailed for life after battering his gay lover to death in a hotel room.

Glenn Rycroft, a former British Airways steward who once tricked friends out of more than £200,000 by falsely claiming he needed life-saving cancer treatment, met Gareth MacDonald through an Internet chatroom.

The 30-year-old care worker left his wife and children for the compulsive liar, but after discovering Rycroft was secretly stealing money from his bank account he angrily branded him a ‘f***ing conman’.

Realising he had been exposed, Rycroft – said by friends to have compared himself to Tom Ripley, the gay fantasist who goes on a killing spree in 1950s Italy – searched websites on methods of murder before battering Mr MacDonald to death with a fire extinguisher.

Full details about the 33-year-old’s cheating ways were revealed today after a judge labelled him ‘dishonest, deceitful and utterly cold-hearted’ as he ordered him to serve at least 25 years of a life sentence.

Rycroft was working for BA in 2003 when he callously duped friends and relatives out of their life savings by lying that he was dying of a brain tumour, using the money to enjoy a life of luxury.

The smooth-talking conman shaved his head to fit his account that he was undergoing chemotherapy treatment and even used fake blood bought from a joke shop to simulate lifelike coughing fits which he blamed on the illness.

Friends in Salford, Greater Manchester organised benefit evenings, while a pensioner who had known him since he was a toddler handed over £20,000.

But in reality he was perfectly healthy and used the money to rent a luxury house and go on 11 exotic foreign holidays in just over a year.

Arrogant Rycroft even took sympathetic friends on stays at five star hotels in North America and Australia and a luxury golfing trip to the Algarve, telling them he had travelled there for treatment.

Eventually his lies were exposed after one became suspicious and discovered the specialist he claimed to be seeing didn’t exist, and in December 2003 he admitted fraud and was jailed for four years.

But his disgusted friends had no idea how far he would take his interest in the conman-turned-killer played by Matt Damon in the 1999 adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel.

‘Glenn watched the film and went on and on about how much he loved it and thought there was something of Mr Ripley in him,’ said one. ‘None of us realised how capable he was of doing of what he did.’

On his release in 2005, Rycroft went on a gay chatroom called Fitlads and met Mr MacDonald, who was happily married to his childhood sweetheart who was expecting their third child.

Impressed by his wealthy lifestyle – Rycroft claimed to have received a £125,000 advance from a book publisher for his life story – MacDonald broke the news to his wife that he was gay, and left the marital home in North Wales.

But despite the lavish gifts and expensive meals, Rycroft was back to his old ways – the house was rented, and the car was leased.

They set up a travel agency together, but it soon became clear that Rycroft did not have the money to make the business a success.

Then Mr MacDonald discovered Rycroft was stealing money from his account and sent a furious text message: ‘I never want to hear from you again, you are the f***ing conman people think you are, get out of my life.’

Rycroft set about a violent revenge, with police later discovering he had searched the Internet using phrases such as ‘how to kill’ and ‘can blows to the head kill’.

Two weeks after sending the text, Mr MacDonald agreed to travel to London to help Rycroft repay debts to relatives.

But while they were staying at a Travelodge at Heston services on the M4 near Heathrow airport on September 15, 2007 he was attacked and killed using a 17lb fire extinguisher.

Rycroft claimed he had left Mr MacDonald alone with a rent boy who must be the killer, but blood spatters were found on his shoes and his fingerprints on the murder weapon.

After he was convicted of murder at the Old Bailey, Mr MacDonald’s mother Susan said in a statement read to the court: ‘To learn Gareth was taken in such a horrendous way by someone we trusted and made welcome in to our house is still unthinkable.

‘Gareth was not only my son but also my friend and I miss him so much. It is such a waste.’

Today Judge Timothy Pontius jailed him for life and ordered he serve a minimum of 25 years.

He told Rycroft he had inhabited a ‘fantasy world of your own warped imaginings’, adding: ‘You are not only a thoroughly dishonest and deceitful man but also a wholly unscrupulous and utterly coldhearted one.’

American Crystal Defanti handed children in her class a DVD meant to be full of memories of the school year as they went on summer holiday.

One father told local media that DVD included a scene with the children, aged 10-11, in a classroom sharing stories.

Then, he said, the content changed.

‘My son’s reaction was, “Dad, is that Ms Defanti?”‘ he said.

‘We were up until midnight doing [the] birds and bees.’

Ms Defanti, a teacher at Isabelle Jackson Elementary school in Elk Grove, California, only realised her mistake when one particularly concerned parent called to inform her what happened.

She called parents the day after the DVD was distributed, crying and apologising for her actions.

‘All she could say was that it was a horrible mix-up,’ the unnamed father said.

CHARLESTON – Charleston police on Friday arrested a man who is a member of a West Side family who lived near where an elderly woman was killed and have been linked to the suspect in the murder investigation.

Ferris Eugene Mallo, 29, was wanted on three counts each of first-degree sexual assault and burglary, according to Charleston police.

He turned himself in to Nitro police about 2:30 p.m., according to a release from that department.

Police say he broke into his ex-wife’s home a raped her.

Mallo’s arrest is the latest police action in a string of arrests that could be related to the death of 82-year-old Phyllis Jean Phares.

On Wednesday, officers arrested a 14-year-old in the death of Phares. Police said the suspect is not related to the victim.

On Thursday, Charleston Police Sergent Autumn Davis announced that 67-year-old Alexander Mallo, his wife, 55-year-old Carolyn Mallo, and their daughter 27-year-old Trina Mallo had been taken into custody.

They were charged with child neglect creating risk of injury, which is a felony. The victims were two juveniles who were family members.

The Mallos lived across the street from Phares and neighbors living in the area said they were relatives of the boy accused of killing Phares.

Davis said the Mallo’s home was in “deplorable” condition and “unfit for human living.” She said the home was filled with cockroaches and broken glass. She also said there were prescription drugs, knives and swords within reach of the children who lived there.

Davis refused to say if the Mallos were related to the suspect.

Charleston police were called to Phares’ home on the 1300 block of Frame Street about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police have declined to give details on the cause of death or motive. Stay with 13News for the latest on this story.

WASHINGTON – A Duke University official has been arrested and charged with offering his adopted 5-year-old son for sex.

Frank Lombard, the school’s associate director of the Center for Health Policy, was arrested after an Internet sting, according to the FBI’s Washington field office and the city’s police department.

According to an affidavit by District of Columbia Police Det. Timothy Palchak, an unnamed informant facing charges in his own child sex case led authorities to Lombard.

Authorities said that Lombard tried to persuade a person — who he did not know was a police officer — to travel to North Carolina to have sex with Lombard’s child.

The detective’s affidavit charges Lombard identified himself online as “perv dad for fun,” and says that in an online chat with the detective, Lombard said he had sexually molested his son, whom he adopted as an infant.

The court papers say Lombard also invited the undercover detective to North Carolina to have sex with the young boy, and even suggested which hotel he should use.

Lombard was charged in federal court in Washington with attempting to induce someone to cross state lines to engage in sex with a child. If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Lombard’s lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Michael Schoenfeld, vice president for public affairs at Duke, said Lombard has been employed with Duke University since 1999. He is now on unpaid administrative leave.

“Duke is cooperating with the investigation,” Schoenfeld said. He said the university was notified of the incident after Lombard was arrested.

Authorities executed a search warrant Wednesday evening at Lombard’s home, according to court documents. The papers show investigators seized two webcams, five computers and a sex toy, among other items.

Appearing in public for the first time since he went missing on Thursday last week, Mr Sanford confirmed he had not been hiking along the Appalachian Trail as he had led his office staff to believe.

“The bottom line is this,” Mr Sanford said. “I have been unfaithful to my wife. I developed a relationship, which started as a dear, dear friend from Argentina.

“It began very innocently as I suspect these things do, in just a casual email back and forth, in advice on one’s life there, and advice here.

“But here recently over this last year it developed into something much more than that, and as a consequence I hurt her, I hurt you all, I hurt my wife, I hurt my boys, I hurt friends like Tom Davis, I hurt a lot of different folks.”

The woman in question is known only as Maria, a mother of two boys, who lives in a Buenos Aires apartment block.

Within hours of Mr Sanford facing a packed new conference in South Carolina, the local newspaper,  The State, released leaked emails containing highly personal exchanges between him and his lover.

In an email on July 10 last year, Mr Sanford told Maria how “my heart cries out for you, your voice, your body, the touch of your lips, the touch of your finger tips and an even deeper connection to your soul”.

He said his love for her snuck up on him like a lightning strike, and went into detail about her “erotic beauty”.

Maria told Mr Sanford in an earlier email: “You are my love … Sometimes you don’t choose things, they just happen…”

Mr Sanford, who is normally on call 24 hours a day and accompanied by bodyguards in public, kicked off a huge fuss across the US after he was last seen driving alone through the gates of his official mansion seven days ago. At one point a mobile phone tower picked up his signal near Atlanta, Georgia, before going dead. It is now clear he took a flight from Atlanta to Argentina.

Mr Sanford is not only the head of state in South Carolina but a leading figure in the Republican Party who had been touted as a possible presidential candidate in 2012.

Mr Sanford did not tell his wife, Jenny, where he was and she confirmed during his absence that he had not contacted the family on Sunday, Fathers Day.

He confirmed he had met Maria three times “during that whole sparking thing” after the pair’s relationship started a year ago.

He said he had met her “very innocently” a little over eight years ago.

His wife had known about the relationship for some months, he said.

While indicating that the affair may be over, he admitted it would take “months” or “years” to work through the fallout, personally and politically.

Mr Sanford has resigned as chairman of the Republican Governors Association after saying it was the appropriate thing to do. He has been replaced quickly by Mississippi governor Haley Barbour.

He hinted strongly that he was inclined to stay on as South Carolina’s governor, but could come under pressure to quit immediately if it is  proven that he used public funds to pay for trips to visit his lover.

The governor, in his previous position as a South Carolina Republican congressman, was one of Bill Clinton’s staunchest critics during impeachment proceedings over the Monica Lewinsky affair.

In 1999 Mr Sanford said that lying undermined the system of government, and was among Republicans pushing for Mr Clinton to resign.

Mr Sanford admitted there were huge issues to be worked through with his wife, who had supported him through 20 years of standing for office, his four sons, his parents-in-law, his good friend Tom Davis, who had collected him from the airport, friends, staff members and others who were entitled to be disappointed in his actions.

Some Republicans were immediately reported as describing the latest sex scandal involving their party as “like a bad episode of Survivor”.

Only last week Republican senator John Ensign admitted to having had an affair with a female staffer, amid allegations of blackmail.

Senator Ensign also appears to be out of the running as a presidential candidate for 2012.

You sell WHAT?
Pre-Stained Underwear. Underwear for men that has skid marks printed in them.

What the deuce? Why?
The idea behind our underwear is that when a woman catches you with dirty pants, it can be quite embarrassing, but if they’re ours, you can just say you bought them that way and you’re home free.

A logical fallacy, surely. If you’re genuinely stained, you could claim this anyway without buying these pants. If you’re wearing the fake stains, but are actually clean, you’re unnecessarily invoking potential disgust. Please defend your assertion.
When you’re wearing Easy Tiger underwear it’s got the tiger logo on the crotch which says “I’m super confident and you know you want some of this sexy man action”. The skid mark says, “I’ve got a sense of humour and I don’t take myself too seriously” which women find hugely attractive. I bet you if you did a scientific study you’d find that people that wear Easy Tiger Underwear would get three times as much sexy time in one night. She (or he) wouldn’t even let you go to sleep. By the end of it you would just be like “I’m going home, and I’m getting some ice. I think you broke it.” If they were just regular old skiddy pants, I think you might have a little bit of a problem getting any action. They’d probably have holes in them too so your trousers would get checked and they would realise it was a lie because you’d stained those too.

So do you have, like, any customers?
I got my first repeat order this morning! We’ve only launched two weeks ago so I’m damn proud of that.

Do these pants also come in piss, blood and cum flavours?
We have a pair with all three on the same garment. They’re called “What The F*ck Happened To Me Last Night Underwear”.

How do you get the fake stain onto the pants – and might it wash out?
Find a willing printer (harder than you might imagine). The hard bit about this is convincing people you are serious and you aren’t taking the piss. The printing is no different then what you do when you get T-Shirts made up. The stain won’t wash out, anymore than the skiddies in your regular undies will. Actually if anyone has found a good way of doing that, please get in touch.

What does your mum think of this?
I don’t know. She won’t return my calls.

Why are you called ‘Easy Tiger Corp’?
It’s called Easy Tiger, because when someone’s losing their shit (pardon the pun) that’s what you say to them. The Corp is so you know we’re serious and we mean business. Also it shortens to ETC which I quite like.

So it’s not an anagram, then? We tried, and the best we could do was ‘Yep, erotic rags’. Not very good. But we’re still suspicious. Especially as you can get the word ‘crap’ out of it.
I think you’ll find if you go back and rearrange the letters some more that Easy Tiger Corp is very obviously an anagram for “Super Wicked Amazing Business Venture”.

Ever considered taking this idea onto Dragons’ Den?
I might, but I don’t really need the extra investment. You don’t really need an incredible amount of money to do something like this as long as you have good friends to help you out. My ex-girlfriend and my best friend did all the art work. My friend Paul’s band Spindle and Wit are doing the modeling, with the help of my very sexy friend Morgan, and my cousin, a very talented photographer, is helping me fix the incredibly shit photos I took. So it’s all worked out well and hasn’t cost too much.

LEX 18 News has learned new information about a Madison County man charged with abusing his girlfriend’s child, even forcing him to eat his own feces as a form of punishment.

Investigators say the child’s father alerted them to the abuse when he took the four-year-old for the weekend and noticed bruises on his forehead, back and arms. Craig Shearer, 32, is charged with abusing the boy inside their home on College Hill Road in Waco.

Police say the child was left Shearer’s care sometimes 12 or 14 hours or longer at a time, and say they think that’s probably when most of the abuse, which they say including forcing the child to eat his own feces and drink his own urine as punishment for bathroom accidents.

Police say it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when the alleged abuse occurred because of the age of the victim and the types of injuries, but say the abuse happened on at least two occasions.

Police say they’ve dealt with Shearer before, as he has previously been convicted of assault and being in possession of meth.

Investigators also say the boy’s 18-month-old sister has injuries as well, but so far doctors can’t determine if those injuries are accidental.

Police say the boy recovering and is in his father’s custody.

‘Ruthless’ paedophile convicted

When will whites get serious about tackling the rampant pedophelia in their communities?

A 69-year-old Jersey man, described as a ruthless paedophile, has been found guilty of raping and abusing a child.

Claude Donnelly from St Brelade was found guilty of 10 counts of indecent assault, procuring an act of gross indecency and four counts of rape.

The jury at the Royal Court returned a unanimous verdict on all but one of the indecent assault charges.

At an earlier trial Donnelly was found guilty of raping and indecently assaulting a teenage girl in the 1980s.

Thursday’s 15 convictions related to a woman who told the court Donnelly started abusing her 30 years ago when she was eight.

Outside the Royal Court, Det Supt Mick Gradwell, who is in charge of the island’s historic abuse inquiry, said: “Donnelly is without doubt a ruthless, predatory paedophile, whose behaviour has affected the young girls he preyed upon.

“We hope the victims who have been involved in these two trials have received some comfort and satisfaction from the decision that’s been reached by the courts.”

Donnelly was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on 21 August.

Neither trial was linked to the ongoing investigation at the former Haut de la Garenne children’s home.
